Onix Rambla

Excellent location on La Rambla and friendly staff. The room was very spacious with a comfortable and large bed. The large windows opened onto a balcony overlooking La Rambla. The 5 star hotel next door may be quieter, but you'll pay 2-3x as much.

There was some street noise at night, despite closing the shutters, windows and drapes, however being on La Rambla is part of the charm of the area. The room was clean but older and shows some wear - reasonable for the price.

Location cannot be beat...just minutes away from subway and heart of Barcelona, with restaurants right downstairs. Nice, friendly staff.

The only thing that I didn't like was the design of the shower. There was very little splash guard and we ended up with wet floors every time. Luckily things dried up fast and housecleaning was everyday and we always came back from our eat to a clean bat!

Hotel in an excellent location, 5-10 mins walk to plaza de Catalunya/ las ramblas. Restaurants and bars outside the hotel, room great, very clean.

Would of liked tea/coffee facility in room,, there is a machine on the 1st floor but definitely would be more convenient in room.

We got robbed inside the hotel (room 302). We went to the police station and made a report about what happened . They took $580 USD cash and the manager did not do anything about it. They had no security staff or cameras. EXTREMELY DISSAPOINTED!

The room was a little old and run down, the floor needs a renewal. The breakfast was ok but not much choice

The location is perfect - not in the centre of the hustle and bustle, but just enough to go backwards and forwards, with plenty of transport options. Staff was helpful with travel information and getting to certain places (English speaking, which was helpful). An array of places to shop and a variety of restaurants to eat from. Breakfast timings were good enough for us as we are not early birds. Pigeon park was a HIT with my daughter and passed plenty of time. Would defo stay again.

A wonderful stay once again at Onix Ramblas Hotel. The room was very comfortable and spacious, with a lovely view over Rambla de Catalunya. The location is excellent, making it easy to get around Barcelona on foot. This is my favourite hotel in the city, and I have stayed here several times. I always look forward to coming back!

The location is great as it's walkable to tourist attractions and transport stops. It's also close to good restaurants.

It did not have the standard complimentary slippers, water, coffee and tea in the room. We had to go down to their dining hall to get coffee and tea. We also noticed unsatisfactory cleaning of dishes. Fresh Coffee mugs still have coffee markings inside and one of the cups still has lipstick marks on it!

I like the location of the property.

I didn’t like about was the staff in the reception during our arrival. She was not accommodating and not so friendly. She seems like she was tired or she wasn’t just in the mood. And we haven’t used the bathtub because there was no lock on the filter on the floor. And the bathroom has no lock. We find it’s weird. And the breakfast was just a little variety of food. The egg doesn’t taste good, the hotdog and bacon wasn’t cooked enough. It’s still raw.

very central. 3min walk from Pl. Catalunya where airport bus runs. Several metro stations are available, same as bus. room and breakfast are simple but enough. Room and everywhere in hotel was very clean. 24h coffee at breakfast room.

We didn´t think that there is a possiblilty go get room without window (there is a window to staircase) We were out all day and just stayed for 3nights so we did not ask to change the room but hotel should mention about it when we choose cathegory of the room. Room was very large and quiet but I needed to get fresh air sometimes but I couldn´t . One staff at reception and one at the kitchen for breakfast were very kind and polite. Most of receptionists were not so much.
