Leonardo Hotel Barcelona Las Ramblas

Excellent location, close to everything but without the noise...clean and comfortable room.

Elevator can only hold 2 people at a time.

It was just off the beaten path so it was not super loud or busy. Having an early arrival bag check was definitely a bonus for us traveling with musical equipment

I loved the location. The food offered was exceptional and the staff was pleasant.

I felt the room was too small for the size of bed making it difficult for the person on the walled side to exit without having to crawl over the end of the bed.

Fantastic breakfast and very well run! I am VERY impressed! I love Leonald Group becuase they do pay attention to guests! We came in early but the room was ready so we were able to check in. I communicated with the hotel about my family member who needed a shower chair. It was in the room! I did not have to remind them! I believe that this hotel had good training for employees! We walked to the La Ramblas every day. Easy walk to many cafes and restaurants. Just fun to stay around this area. This hotel made me feel that I want to come back to Barcelona! I recommend this hotel to anyone!

Staff was super helpful, it was an excellent location. Right on La Rambla, minutes walk to the gothic quarter. Cleaning, and the pool is salt water!

The seal on our shower fell off so the water went all over the floor before we knew to lay a pool towel down first.

Shower tray overflowed, doors sticking, major pipe/roadworks on Las Ramblas make it difficult to get to by Car/Taxi

We did not have breakfast at the hotel, so can't comment. The location is amazing. You are 5 minutes walk to approx. half way trough the La Ramblas. So max 15 minutes walk towards the see or Plaça de Catalunya. Still walking distance to both Gaudi's houses on Pg. de Gracia. Staff was amazing. They help organise something special for a special occasion. A big thank you to the young ladies that worked almost every morning at the reception. The hotel has lockers to leave luggage's if you get there early or on your departure.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Provided map of area to help with directions and arranged our cab back to airport early morning. They did have afternoon drinks/snacks but we were never back at the hotel at that time. A tapas bar right on corner was convenient and always busy.

I did not like that the hotel did not have carpeted hallways so it was loud as people walked by with luggage or cane in late and talked so loud in hallways. The neighborhood is close to Gothic Quarter and Las Rambles but also close to seedy section I did not like.

What we liked most was the friendly and helpful staff, who gave us excellent tips for getting around the city. The breakfast buffet was incredible, with high-quality bread, delicious cold cuts, and fresh fruit.

The rooms are quite small, and for the rate we paid through Booking, it didn’t feel worth it. Next time, we’ll book directly with the hotel. That said, the staff was very helpful and kindly moved us to a slightly larger room, but overall, we still found it overpriced.

Breakfast as for 7:30, early travelers being rudely denied a coffee or a croissant; bathroom had a sewage smell; a/c extremely loud, even on minimum speed.
