Super friendly and helpful staff, amazing location

The pictures look much better than what the rooms actually look like, the hotel felt like a 2 star hotel Our bathroom had a strong cigarette smell

Quaint small hotel just off the main drag. Super easy walking to everything. We had a back facing room which was very quiet. Friendly reception maned 24 hours a day.

I had a room in front. Directlly across the street is a bar with very loud customers

Friendly and knowledgeable hotel staff. Clean room. Located right in the middle of everything you want to do. Walking distance to the beach.

It's in a great spot and is exactly what you need. No more no less. The staff was more than helpful and very friendly. Would recommend .

Room was smaller than expected but that is typical of a big city and all we really needed. No complaints.

The location was excellent and the hotel was clean and tidy and very hospitable. The staff were wonderful, full of recommendations, and helpful in every way they could be.

The location was fantastic! The metro is one minute walk away!! One changeover will get you to La Familia Sagrada in about 10 mins. It didn’t matter which way you turned out of the hotel, you hit on the cobbled streets full of eateries, shops and old buildings in the Gothic quarter. Due to the fact rooms are old in that vicinity, it also makes the rooms seem dirty. That said, the needing was good but was an old bed. The bathroom had a window (not suitable for children) that opened and looked over other apartments and the street below which was funny (just like the ‘one cornetto’ advert

No tea/coffee facilities in room! Hoteliers …. it is a MUST! Room was very old but that’s what you get in that area.There was a drain smell in the hotel/room and I noticed that the room attendant covered our shower plug hole with an old towel daily. Due to the fact most of the buildings are narrow, I am not sure if we had a hotel resident or local resident on the other side of our bathroom. He had a bad cough and it was so loud so guess the walls are thin. There were also some alterations going on in the foyer which will no doubt enhance the small reception area. NOTE: Jan 26 - there are roadworks on La Ramblas but there are still plenty of taxis around (approx one min from our hotel to the left on the Main Street). Ubers don’t really work because they can’t get the timings right because of the roadworks.

The place was under construction, with a very bad smell at the reception. Certainly not worth the value I paid. However, its at a perfect location and everything is at a walkable distance including the metro station. Rooms were of a good size but no other facilities in the room, bathroom was small too. Found it disappointing overall.

It was cold. No warm in room. On the floor very dirty.

The location was OK for downtown, but there’s really nothing else to recommend about the place

There was renovation work going on with no warning that was happening. The rooms are totally sterile, no facilities, no bottled water, coffee or tea, no even a picture on the wall. The electrical fixtures were wobbly & inconveniently located. There’s no bar, kitchen, restaurant or even chairs to sit on in the lobby. For the price it was outrageous.

The room was very cold, the heating did not seem to work and the draughts coming in the windows were unreal, at one point we were so cold we checked to see if the windows were open!.The bedding was totally inadequate for the outside temperature, I had to sleep wearing a fleece top! It was also very noisy most of the night

The air conditioning in the room didn’t work, there was mold in the shower, the fridge didn’t work, it was overall just very dirty.

The location is okay if you like the completely overcrowded La Rambla. Nearby you can find pretty much everything you need for daily life and more.

The hotel was nowhere near what was advertised in the pictures. The reception area was obviously under renovation. Behind the reception there seems to be some kind of garbage storage area for the neighboring restaurants, which you can already smell when entering the hotel.The room itself was also in poor condition: wooden strips were falling off, the toilet did not work at all for two days, and neither did the TV. The service was terrible — forgotten cleaning rags were left behind, and the toilet was only repaired twice after repeatedly asking at the reception. There was no response whatsoever to emails.Changing the room was not possible because apparently this required an “imaginary” manager who was never available.

Everything else. It smelled, had no amenities, heating was broken, and horrible customer service
