Couldn¿t sleep the entire night because the AC turned off every few hours and the fan made a loud blaring noise the entire night. Horrible experience, wouldn¿t recommend to anyone - especially for the price.
The hotel has an always open buffet and wet bar day and night. Great outdoor courtyard to eat, drink and mingle. The location on Rambla provides easy access to dining, sight seeing and shopping. The hotel has old world charm.

It is dated in many ways. We could hear the next door person talking. A lot of the older hotels we stayed at have done some renovations like noise reducing walls if this was done here it would be a lot better. The entrance is a little shabby.
The hotel is located on La Rambla near the center of the downtown area. It is very close to shopping, spectacular architecture, restaurants, and the open stall markets. The bathrooms are beautiful, modern, marble. The staff was extremely helpful.
I got the last room for my first visit and it was quite small. The room for my second visit was large and had a small private outdoor patio. So, inquire about the room you will get (but I would still choose to stay there with a small room).

Location is convenient but not safe at all. I got robbed and beaten by 3 men right outside the hotel on the same street as the entrance.
The hotel is like American Horror Story. The room was dirty stains on the walls bed was lumpy, the mini frig makes a creepy noise. And the front desk staff are nosy and force you to check in and check out the room key every time you come or go 24/7.

Entryway looks like a strip club. Having to return the key and go to reception to retrieve your key EVERYTIME the guest leaves the hotel is painfully awkward and annoying.
Staff is very friendly and helpful. Staff helped us check in and make sure we were comfortable and knowledgeable about all the amenities that the hotel provides-breakfast, beverages and ice. Hotel employee is the best at insuring your stay is great!

The location was excellent. Breakfast & 24 hour buffet was also great. The staff was friendly & helpful.
Our bathtub/shower was not clean. There was not only excessive hairs but also dirt in the tub. Our sons' room was clean & all other aspects of our stay were good so I would still recommend.
Great location, room was more modern than expected based on photos, and the 24-hour buffet was very handy, if not the most fantastic food ever.
Having a window only to the ventilation shaft wasn't ideal, but then again our room was much quieter than if we had a window/balcony on the main street. And we were able to use the balcony in the lobby anyway!
