Location, price, clean enough
Air con not working properly
The room was big. Tha bathroom was huge and we had a walk in wardrobe. The beds were comfy and the room was cleaned each day and fresh towels daily.
The decor is a little dated and all the windows are frosted class so it feels a little clostrophobic
Very old/outdated hotel and images do not show that, requires a lot of maintenance. Beds are terrible, toilets were ok tho with good water pressure. The lighting was poor and the location was close to the las ramblas. I believe if it was properly maintained and updated, it would be great.
Not recommended. Be very carefull!
Not recommended. Be very carefull! It was chosen for accommodation as a last resort because we couldn’t find anything else.A few words about the area:The "hotel" is located in the area known as the most dangerous in Barcelona, that we unfortunately didn't know. No exaggeration! In the surrounding area there are homeless people and drug users and the smell of urine and garbage is pervasive. Just a little further down, there are traps set up and the narrow side street could be called the "red-light district" – if you can undersand what i mean. So, the location gets a rating of 0.About the hotel:The facilities are unacceptable. The room smelled like a mix of foot odor and cannabis. We passively smoked more than we’ve ever smoked in our entire lives. The balcony, which was supposed to be there, was simply a door with bars instead of a window, and it overlooked an uncovered area that had been turned into a garbage dump. When we opened the window, the atmosphere worsened. There was suffocating heat and there was no way to adjust the heating. There were 3 power outages. If the power goes out in one room, the whole floor loses power. And of course, you must contact the reception either through your personal phone, go there in person, or use the Booking contact form. The room had a small fridge that was moldy. You wouldn't even want to put a sealed bottle inside. The towels were quite small and weren’t changed for the 3-night stay, same for the bed linens. Access to the room is a labyrinth with security issues. The receptionist (Mr) was not very lucid… The worst of all is the cleanliness and something else...The lack of cleanliness wouldn’t be noticeable in a photo. It’s a health hazard! As for the value for money, we can say they’re selling ice to Eskimos. We paid a lot for nothing. What I must mention last and as the most important : even though you’ve already paid, they ask for your bank card and record all its details (number, date, etc.
I like the location since its in the middle of the city centre, very close to the tourist areas.
The ventilation was not good enough., basic Hotel.
Well centred
The 3 guys staring at us when we first entered the hotel, didn’t even say hi, once we introduced ourselves and informed them that we had a booking, they moved out of the way without saying anything to then let us talk with a lady at the reception. Very rude men, not even a smile. The toilet in the bathroom were literally detached from the floor, the bath had coloured marks all over it, there isn’t any real air con, just a radiator. The room looks very old and not taking care of. I do not recommend one bit of this place, especially for the price we paid for only one night.
Clean , bed comfortable but too much noise
I reserved for 2 persons but was alone and didn’t agree to receive friend in my room- last night one lady made exception- we r adult enough and in barcelona
Staff was really good .they help me out when I went early
Wash room is little down graded but everything else is good
The location was great. Right next to the market and Las Ramblas! The room was comfy, clean and had a balcony which we really appreciated. The team was amazing. Special shout out to Carlos who really looked after us. He gave us tips on where to go for different things and really showed how much he cared throughout the whole stay! He was definitely a highlight to the hotel! The value for money was also worth it. All around a great stay.
The only thing I would say was a little off was the fact that the bathtub was a half bath. However I am more for showers so it didn't affect us at all.
Poor
Bed was tinyBathroom stinkedCold water on second dayBathroom sealing looked like it would collapse Walls are so thin you can hear everything Day 1 neighbours talking loudly 2 am Day 2 other neighbours fighting at 5 am Personal was friendly but and helped solving cold water but all together bad experience and would not recommend especially for the price I paid.
Location ok .... Barcelona generally doesn't give value for money this hotel is no exception Tiny bed tiny everything Pretty minimal but clean thankfullyThankfully only needed to stay one night...
The bed The shower room ....well worn ...toilet running water constantly... powerful shower flow but hand heldTowel rail far end of the room well away from the shower
Location Good valueClean Quiet in spite of the busy areaBeautiful and comfortable
The location was good.
The bath, general upkeep, lack of fridge, lots of things didn’t work.
Location was good
Horrible price, no breakfast, extremely small hotel, hearing all neighbours, not possible to open window because people with windows straight in front of you looking.
Very helpful friendly staff
Location not great from safety and noise point of view but within walking distance to La Rambla and Plaza Catalunya
Personal was very positively. Reception working was great, housekeeping was very professional. I like this hotel. It’s old hotel but stuff making this hotel very luxurious.Thank you for every smile. ??
