Staff were very friendly and helpful; the room was very clean & larger than expected; location was perfect & loved the hotel tappas bar; overall it was an excellent experience

It is located in the historic building but inside is very modern and beautiful, hotel staffs are amazing, amenities were great I loved their shampoo and conditioner , great location highly recommended

beautiful breakfast area with good food and copious choices. very accommodating staff.

room was not well lit. needed refreshing . dinning room closed indefinitely and so was tapas bar one whole day. In a small hotel you need options.

The mattresses are getting to the end of their life.

They were in touch before and after the stay and asked me if if I had need anything. They made us reservations and the best places and they helped during the taxi strike. They even preordered gluten free bread so I'd have during breakfast.

Room was on small side. But otherwise great

The concierge service was phenomenal.

It was very difficult for the taxi driver to locate the hotel because cars really cannot drive to the hotel using gps.

The Mercer hotel is located in a wonderful part of Barcelona within the Gothic district. It's filled with great history, cathedrals, Tapas, and other interesting shops. The staff was wonderful and really catered to our exact needs the entire trip.

Service was exceptional, friendly staff but very professional.

Loved everything

The hotel itself is beautiful. It's a sophisticated mix of modern elegance and Gothic quarter style. The staff is excellent and we're extremely helpful when we needed help due to my son having injured his leg.

The property location was excellent. It is very clean and contemporary while keeping the charm of the original stone work. Staff are very friendly. All in all I highly recommend this hotel.

The staff were amazing. The building was really interesting and the location was great.

There wasn’t a lot of space for my clothes and toiletries. The shower in the main section of the room was odd.

The breakfast & the theme

The hotel holds the amount in my account & the let us pay the amount after checking out & the amount was still holds.Why the hotel keeps sending emails before check in to pay & they’re supposed to collect the money at the property!

Fantastic hotel, comfortable beds, clean rooms, large bathroom, friendly staff, delicious breakfasts, great location.

The price is not worth it at all, the water wasn’t free

All the staff were kind, and although the building was a historic structure, the interior was modern and comfortable. The breakfast was thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented.When I asked the front desk for a taxi in the morning, they helped carry my luggage to the main street and hailed a taxi for me!

Great location.

Very expensive for what you got. No free bottles of water in room. Milk not filled up to use with coffee pods in room. Coffee machine not working. Lots of staff milling around with not much to do.
