Proximity to the main drag.

Not what I expected. It was basic more like a 2 star bed and breakfast. On arrival, the receptionist was short and not very helpful. The room was stuffy.

Great location, got an early check-in, clean room and nobody disturbed us with the no disturb sign up. Read a lot of reviews about noise complaints, but our room was really quiet - didn't hear anything above really faint street noise.

The bathroom could've used a door instead of sliding glass. The AC was a bit wonky, didn't really keep a stable climate.

very good location so you easily access to all the main districts by even only walking. Snacks, tea and coffee are available at reception for free. there are nice coffee shops and pizzeria in a corner of the building, specially "365" coffeeshop which is very standard and decent franchise.

there was cooking smell in the corridor of the building but luckily not in the rooms or in the floors. and the room was a bit small however manageable.

A great accommodation, in a good location, neat, clean, with friendly staff. Coffee, croissants and muffins were a great addition to a good start of the day.

It is like a hostel or backpacker kind of a place. Not a hotel!

The room opens at the face of reception. No privacy.Widow which opens into the garbage disposal place.

Everything was good, clean and comfortable.

They haven't microwave. But isn't big problem... Just in case.

Small room, construction on the street

The staff were outstandingly nice and so helpful. The broadband was great after an initial problem which Erika immediately sorted. The room was large and comfy and the shower was always hot and great water pressure. The fridge was also very useful. There is no breakfast as such but in the reception area there were free drinks, muffins, fruits, yoghurts and more which you could help yourself to. The decor was nice and modern. Location super, we walked everywhere and there were literally scores of bars, cafes etc on the doorstep which was really nice.

It could be a little noisy in the evenings but they did provide earplugs. I noticed that the price was a lot less if I'd have booked nearer the date - would've cost me half what I paid (which was quite a lot for 4 nights).

Great accommodation in Barcelona. Cute decoration, comfortable bed, clean. Plus free coffee/snacks at the reception.

Very nice place. Yes, the room is small and generally a bit worn out, but stylishly decorated, there are good cosmetics, a comfortable bed, a free snack in the morning in the form of croissants, yogurt, tea/coffee, tea and yogurt/milk/juice/beer from the fridge can be used at other times. We arrived late in the evening and were met very kindly by the night porter, he told us everything and showed us around. The location is also great - close to the metro, the old town, the harbor.

A bit tight and a bit worn

Great place to stay for the weekend. I want to start by saying that we arrived quite late, after the reception had closed, but we were warned about this and sent all the instructions on how to get to the hotel and how to check in, a pleasant surprise was that we were met by the night concierge, he was very kind and helped us with the check-in. Another pleasant surprise for us was that the price included breakfast, although this was not indicated when booking the stay. Overall, we were very pleased with the service and accommodation in this wonderful hotel, I also want to add that the hotel is in a great location, all the sights are within walking distance. So we definitely recommend staying at Casa Vaganto.

The location is excellent right next to the metro, but also the area is a little more residential. I was able to pretty much walk everywhere and catch the metro when needed, which actually wasn’t at all very much. The staff are also very helpful.. It’s close to multiple amenities, including a laundromat. Water, coffee, tea, and snacks are readily available at reception throughout the day.. The towels were lovely and fluffy, and my bed was made perfectly every time!

The lift was a little bit tricky at one point I couldn’t call it to the second floor where I was staying, so I had to go down to the ground floor get in the lift to bring it up and then load my luggage.

Beautiful room in a nice part of the city. The room was quiet, and comfortable. Very friendly staff and a light breakfast included in the price, although booking did not mention it.

When we entered, the room smelled of mould. The smell disappeared almost immediately after we opened the windows.

Casa Vaganto offers charming and comfortable rooms with unique decor. The location is excellent, within walking distance of many popular attractions and vibrant neighborhoods.

Nothing to mentions here as staff was extremely polite and helpful. Many thanks again to Celine who helped us with the access card as we had a little issue with the magnetic strip.

It was easy to get to on the metro and free water 24/7 was nice. Nice enough balcony. Internet was fine and room was comfy enough. Staff were friendly. In terms of value it worked well for what I wanted to do.

Check in was limited times, so was lucky flight wasn't delayed. Lift wasn't on the very ground floor, steps up and was very tight when tried to get a 2nd person in. Room was small which is ok for me, but certainly wouldn't recommend for 2 and the noise and light from outside wasn't kept out very well.

The staff is very kind, welcoming and friendly.Although it’s located in a busy and condensed area yet the room was so quiet I had a fantastic sleep.

The bed sheets was 7/10 clean and I hope the hotel provides warmer blankets cuase it was cold.
