Hotel Toledano Ramblas

Location! We rented two rooms. Our queen room had a balcony that looked out over a restaurant but our four double bed room looked over Las Ramblas! The rooms were both like a Hostel, but I was looking for location, not room.

It was on the 6th floor of the building, no amenities, very tiny, felt like a hostel.

Friendly reception staff who all spoke good English. Location was excellent for public transport and shops.

Tiny bathroom and bathtub was half the size of a regular bath. Bed wasn't very comfortable.

The location is brilliant for exploring the city.Given the superb location the cost of staying here was surprisingly good. Expected to pay more for such a central position.

The en suite showroom was exceptionally small but for a weekend visit even that was no real problem.

We loved the location of this property. The housekeepers were all extremely friendly and attentive.

This property was Bear basics. I’m not sure what differentiated our room from a hostel room other than we had our own bathroom. When I booked through booking.com it supposedly came with a free transportation from the airport to the hotel. Once I booked and paid for the room. The hotel said it was not their responsibility and I got no response from booking.com. I will not use booking.com again. When we checked in, they gave us the information for the Wi-Fi. We could not get it to work so someone came to our room and also couldn’t get it to work. Told us we didn’t know what we were doing and it was our fault. Four days later after a power failure, the Wi-Fi all came back up. The gentleman was extremely rude.

Hard beds/paper, thin walls/very noisy/broken shower

Location was great walking distance from a lot of tourist sights and restaurants. Balcony had a nice patio view.

Bed didn't have a blanket and instead used a boxspring cover. It wasn't comfortable.

This place will always be full because of the location. The proximity to all the hotspots is not beatable

They only gave us one set of keys which is crazy for two travelers that weren't always together. It made getting in and out a bit of a struggle. The rooms are tiny and the mattresses were hard.

This location is right in the "thick of things" off The Ramblas, with a subway station just steps from the front door, which we used to get the train station to continue our trip to Valencia. Construction on the Ramblas was going on at the time of our visit but it did not seem to hinder us from finding all the little neighborhoods gems "off the Ramblas." From this base, we took day excursions to Monserrat, Girona and Figueres and were able to walk to the Barcelona History Museum and the Picasso Museum.

Room was clean and no bugs

Major paint pealing off the walls. Toilet seat was broken. Shower needed some love. Very sparse rooms. One little window to a very small court yard. People talk or smoke below it came right up the walls and into our room. The pipes were also out there and we heard a lot a flushing and water running. Beds were very hard. Elevator didn’t go to our floor so we had to carry them for one floor.

The tiny balcony was great. It provided a great view and ventilation.

There were ants but that may have been because work was being done on the street outside. There were only a few.

Location is great, but there was a lot or road work happening in la ramblas, making the advantage mute.

The price/condition of the room was unacceptable!. The matress looked and felt decades old, same as the bed cover and sheets. There was a random piece of wood ( part of the flooring) in the room, the walls had cracks and were in need of painting, there were open holes on the walls with exposed wires. The shower and bathroom were a newer addition to the room, but the shower was tiny, I could barely fit and move my hands to shower my head. The coridor was tiny.

room feels like your sleeping in the closet, bed is so uncomfortable and nearly broken. mattress is a joke

The location was perfect for exploring Barcelona. The Hop on Hop off bus was a short walk from the Hotel. The Taxi stand was also a short walk from the hotel. Several eating places near by.The room was fine with twin beds that were okay for comfort. It had a small balcony with no view but good for ventilation . The bathroom was quite small, but adequate. The staff was very helpful. We got to the hotel early, but when we returned we found they had delivered our luggage to the room.

Street construction made walking to and from the hotel a little inconvenient, but couldn't be helped. The hotel had no kitchen, so no breakfast at the facility. The elevator went to each floor, but some rooms required stairs to reach. The staff was great and helped us with out luggage on departure.

Location was amazing for enjoying Las Ramblas!

It was on the fourth floor with super old/delapitated elevator that was slow and scary!

Location

Mattresses were old and saggy. Walls were super thin so you could hear everyone on adjacent rooms. Bathroom so small that you could barely turn around.

Location was perfect and the staff was nice

Bed was a bit uncomfortable but nothing else that is worth mentioning. It was great value for the price.

Loved the location, that is the highlight. The staff were very friendly. I would probably stay here again as it's in the heart of Barcelona and not too expensive.

The property is very old and because of that the facilities are not great, but ok for 2 2-day stay. The linen/ towels were not washed properly, with stains, toilet seat was loose and coming off all the time.

The walls are really thin, the room needs a bit of a renovation, there was only one power outlet with proper electricity amount

This is a nice, simple hotel in a great location on the Rambala. Close to Hop on Hop off bus stop at plaza. Staff are helpful!
