Hotel Bagués, a Small Luxury Hotel of the World

The hotel itself is beautiful and upscale, but the staff takes it to the next level. They were all so helpful and inviting, and I enjoyed speaking with them throughout our stay. In particular the skybar bartender and hotel employee at the desk were 5 star.

All staff very attentive and professional, with a couple going above and beyond making us feel like special guests at a very special hotel. Additionally, the room was great and location superb for experiencing the sights, sounds and tastes of Barcelona.

I would love to see the price decreased, or discounts available.

Great location in terms of being in the heart of La Rambla in Barcelona, as well as atmosphere and shopping . Great transport links - even close to bus (superb) for airport or train stations - as well as Metro

There is nothing to dislike if you want elegant yet cosy, safe yet unobtrusive, business or pleasure

Hotel employee at the front desk greeted us with a smile. My husband mentioned we were on our honeymoon and a bottle of champagne was waiting for us when we got to our room. Hotel employee was at the door and was always extremely helpful. Always went out

The hotel is perfect ! Ideal for our short trip. The beds are so comfortable and the rooms have everything you need. Breakfast was delicious and so much choice. The staff were amazing! So helpful and friendly. I would definitely come back to this hotel next time

We ordered drinks and sat in the lounge area but the bar staff didn't check if we wanted another drink we mostly had to ask reception staff and they located the bartender for us

I WILL WRITE THIS ON PURPOSE BECUASE HOTEL DESERVE 10 NOT 3 .First and main receptionist was dream team if you want small but 5 star hotel in area of the city you need 3 guys and 1 woman, including Italian guy doorman and almost forget 2 barmans on the rooftop , they deserve more money if owner or manager are reading this , i am talking from receptionist view because i also work.

Why 3 ? I rented this night and one more with out booking but bigher one with a terasse and jacussi for one night , we manage to turn on jacussi first day and it was nothing special , i rented a second day and second we try to turn on and nothing , service guy came did nothing , it was 14 o clock 4 hours of using apartmentnAnd they say we are not returning money but the main thing if i want to pay 250e more i want jacussi ofcourseI repeat again i dont blame workers they are perfect

Would have preferred to receive a text message when our room was ready instead of an email. Staff did their best to accommodate an early check in.

My stay at this hotel was, unfortunately, not as comfortable as I expected. The room felt dark and not very cozy, with almost all the lights controlled by a single switch and no bedside or table lamps to create a warmer atmosphere. The window was placed unusually low and faced the garbage bins, which also limited natural light.When we arrived late and tried to order food, the in-room phone did not work properly, so I had to go to the reception desk. Despite having left a deposit, I was asked to pay for the order immediately due to “system issues.” The food was disappointing, though I must say breakfast the next morning was very good. However, breakfast was served in the hotel lobby near the reception and entrance, as there was no separate dining area.Overall, the breakfast was the highlight of my stay, but other aspects of the hotel left me dissatisfied.

Gorgeous historic hotel right in the heart of La Rambla. Easy walk to so many wonderful attractions. Staff was outstanding, as well.

Small pool area, could only accommodate a dozen people.Not set up for room service. Non English speakers answering the phone, resulted in a prolonged process.

Very friendly and attentive staff who went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Superb location within walking distance of most major sights. Very clean comfortable rooms and public areas. Fantastic breakfast.

Our room didn't have a window, so was rather dark and felt airless. It would have been nice if this had been pointed out to us at the time we booked so we could possibly have considered other options.
