Very clean and comfortable. Has everything needed for a cozy stay. The staff are kind and helpful.

My room was a bit noisy in the morning. The walls are too thin to block the noise.

We liked everything: the location, the staff, the rooms, the cleanliness, the warmth, the quiet, the eco-friendly principles, the comfortable beds, the pillows, the refrigerator, the kettle, and the tea in the room.Everything is very well thought out and cleverly arranged.The staff are cultured and always happy to help.

The location was convenient for visiting the main attractions. The room was adequate for my needs. It was clean.

It could have had more tea, coffee and milk.

The smell in the room was disgusting. It was impossible to stay in the room with windows closed as there was a smell of sewer system. Awful

Conveniently located to nearby to shops,restaurants,pubs and a supermarket. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Less than two minutes walk from the metro.The staff were respectful especially the reception.Will definitely stay again.

Location - helpful staff, balcony, water/microwave room on 4th floor. Very clean.

A very nice hotel in a perfect location (c.a. 300 m to La Rambla), located in a small side street so it was really quiet inside. Breakfast was OK, quite comfortable beds. Very nice staff .

The bathroom needs some renovation.

For its price range, the hotel offers good clean, comfortable , value for money accommodation in a convenient location in the Gothiic Quarter. The staff were friendly and helpful and the optional buffet breakfast was also good value at 6 euros. There were snack and drinks machines in the hotel and a supermarket and other shops just a few meters away

I did not find any negatives and would happily stay there again.

Honestly I loved it. It is rated as a one star hotel, but it is absolutely great! The area is exceptional (I did not use a single transportation inside the city), the staff is nice, and it has everything necessary.

The only downside was that the room was a little too small, but I also understand that as it was a room for one person.

Great location just 20 or so minutes from the beach. Super easy access. Rooms had AC.

The building is right in a somewhat busy alleyway, so it could get a little loud at certain times with people talking on the street or people in the buildings right next door to watch tv or talk with their windows open.

The Canton Hotel is located pretty central in the Gothic Quarter of Barcelona, but yet it's pretty quiet since it's in a side street. The room was very clean and was cleaned every day. The staff didn't seem overly motivated but they were helpful whenever I had a question. I can definitely recommend it for a short vacation.

Sometimes you can hear people in the bathroom in the room next door. The walls aren't very thick.

Hotel Canton is listed as a one star hotel but while compact it was very comfortable, a nice bathroom with good-sized shower and located near a selection of bars for late night sustenance. And just off the main promenade.

Great location! Everything is very close — the beach, the Gothic Quarter, La Rambla — and you can reach everywhere on foot. The reception staff are very friendly and always willing to help with anything. Highly recommended!
