Pros +
- location, food excellent, staff excellent
- Location
- The location and all the restaurants and shops and stores around it
Cons -
- Yes, the twin beds were horrible for a couple. Did not stay together, had to upgrade to a different room it was so uncomfortable. Late check-in a drag, and having to rent a locker was irritating especially since they required special coinage. .
- Lobby smells and at night guest smoke fill my room
- Construction all along the mall of LaRambla. I am assuming they are trying to get it completed before the summer rush since we were here in January. However from the location of our room you couldn’t hear the workers who start early in the morning.

Location
Excellent location - near the Gothic Quarter and right on top of a Metro station.
Great location and friendly staff. Room was clean however lacked more space for unpacking for longer stays. The walls are slightly thin as you can hear the next room but wasn’t disruptive to sleep. I would return here if I come back to visit.

Location and the view of the room
Rooms a bit smaller. They are not helpful and also not flexible with the check in times.
Staff was very helpful, friendly and willing to please!
Room was too small to accommodate luggage, did not have luggage racks, had to carry luggage to room
Location is great! Easy access to onward ferry journey. But also in the centre of a lovely part of the city
The location was great. The staff was awesome and attentive to all our questions. The rooms were clean.
The shower was difficult to get in and out of.
Clean and comfortable and staff very friendly and nice. Appreciated the very comfortable mattress.
Great location close to restaurants and shops and attractions
The location is somewhat convenient, but it felt a bit unsafe. Be cautious of the people around the hotel and the nearby Rambla.
There was a noticeable drain-like smell from outside lingering inside the room. The beds, made by pushing two twin beds together to form a “queen,” were somewhat uncomfortable. They tended to move apart easily, which made sleeping a bit restless.
Great location, roomy and tastefully decorated. The staff were very kind and accommodating
The staff was wonderful !
There is construction around the hotel in Las Ramblas and the taxi drop off is far from the hotel which is inconvenient if you bring luggage
We actually stayed 5 nights. I made a reservation first for 3 nights then decided to stay 4. Then because of a medical issue, we had to stay another night before flying home. We had been to Barcelona before and I knew I wanted to stay on Las Ramblas (the street). I researched hotels and this was the best one in the center of a fun area. Shout out to Jose, desk clerk, who took great care of us during our stay. He called for a doctor to come to our hotel room to assess my condition. He was always so friendly and helpful with suggestions. Also shout out to Carlos, evening desk clerk, for helping with getting our fifth night...and let us stay in the same room. He also made a great restaurant recommendation...Rossini's. We ate there 2 times at least.
Loved everything at hotel...and this has nothing to do with the hotel. But the street , Las Ramblas, is being torn up and it's of construction going on. Taxis do the best job they can getting close to your hotel, but you will be walking a lot to get public transportation.
The location. The staff. The room was quiet and big enough for two.
The location is perfect—right on La Rambla, close to restaurants, shops, and public transport, which made exploring the city incredibly easy. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, offering everything we needed for a short stay. The breakfast was fresh, well-presented, and offered a good variety to start the day.A special mention goes to the staff, who were genuinely friendly, professional, and extremely helpful. On the morning we checked out, we were pressed for time, and they assisted us immediately in identifying the fastest and most efficient travel option to reach our next destination. Their guidance saved us a lot of stress and ensured we made it on time.Overall, Arc La Rambla offers great value, an unbeatable location, and outstanding service. Highly recommended
Modern look
Noisy room. Old and lumpy mattress.
The hotel is well located BUT the streets are all torn up right now and hard to get to the hotel. Lots of construction and construction noise too.
Our room was on the second floor above an alley - and apparently it is a gathering place beginning at 1:00 a.m. The partying went on until 4:00 a.m. Thought maybe just on weekends - but it happened Sunday night as well. The hotel said they would call the police around 3:00 a.m. but the desk attendant the next morning said there is really nothing they can do. With the construction going on (sewer system update?) the street is all torn up in that area and it is hard to get to the hotel. And, the noise is distracting. I'd stay away from the hotel until the streets are done.
Perfect location, both rooms were spotless. The staff was so friendly and kind, they gave us recommendations for amazing restaurants. The breakfast was also very good. They even have an option to pay for dinner, but we didn't use it as we wanted to explore around. We were very pleased with our choice of stay in Barcelona!
