Pros +
- I've never been to a hotel with shared rooms that were SO clean! The floors were pristine, the room's fresh air smelled like waxed wood, the kitchen was clean and tidy, and every spot of the baths was impeccable. This was a paradise for me ?
- Only a woman, it's safety.
- Hostelle is clean, comfortable, safe, and fun
Cons -
- The staff were arrogant, and I had a bad experience because my room wasn't clean. I told the receptionist, but she didn't figure it out.
- The locker for the bed was very small. Own padlocks are required. Also, the common area where people eat contains maybe four to five smaller tables and I felt that it was always a bit crowded to eat there.
- Which if there’s rooms with little beds

Hostelle is clean, comfortable, safe, and fun
I really enjoyed my stay, the price was good, the curtains provided privacy, overall, it was very quiet taken into account the amount of people I shared my rooms with. The bathroom was spacious. Really good and welcoming atmosphere! The staff was super nice as well and there was a metro station just in front of the hostel.

It was clean and comfortable. The staff was kind.
I liked the bright, fun aesthetic!! I also liked that they had activities most nights!! I never went to them but it was fun knowing that there was something to do if I didn’t want to stay out after dark!
The bed and pillow were SO thin!! I still slept fine, but would have been nice to have a slightly fluffier pillow.
I stayed in this beautiful hostel for 2 nights and It was an excellent experience specially it’s our first time using hostels Clean , nice and friendly staff, safe, near to the metro literally two steps from the hostel, and surrounded with everything you need…
Environment is great, full of activities.
It could be cleaner, specially in the toilet, nobody was paying attention to that.
It was a great stay overall, but what I especially loved was how close it was to the metro. Literally right out the door and it went to pretty much everywhere I wanted to go. The staff were helpful and I loved the owners vision for a safe, inviting space for women. One night I joined in an art-making group and enjoyed listening to all the languages people spoke. Thank you!
Close to metro. Theme nights to meet other travelers. Cute design.
Kinda far from city center (22 min on train to get there)Fee for towel rental (3 euros) usually towels are included
Very clean.. friendly staff.. women only.. perfect… group activities for guests..
Everything was great.
Though slightly far from the city center, the metro is fairly close and was an easy commute into the city. I didn’t participate but it seemed like there were many socializing events throughout the week so that may be a nice way to meet other travelers.
Each room is really big so there are several other guests. Because of this, it seemed like there was some one up at all hours of the night. This could be tough for a light sleeper. The showers don’t have an adjoining area to put your clothes and dry off so you have to hang your towel and clothes over the shower stall, and then shower, dry off, and put clothes on all while inside the shower. Lastly, as others have mentioned, the fridge seems to always be packed to capacity.
I really like how the hostel is designed. Each room level was designed to a specific color. They have a really nice roof that’s comfortable with chairs to lounge in they also have nice vanity area to do your make up and open area as well. The staff are very nice and communication was very clear. Also like that they have a daily agenda for things to do that sociable. Is a nice way to meet people the facility is very clean as well and is right across the street from the train station, which was very convenient. They provide locks in for a small fee slippers if you need it. I paid three euros for a towel but every day I was able to change it for free that seemed decent to me overall the cost I appreciate per night. I feel very safe. They have a security code to get access into the space and overall it felt good to just have women around me even though this was a new experience. Everyone seemed very respectful of your space and your things.
I didn’t like the pillows. They were very flat and uncomfortable. The bed was decent, but could be softer. Some of the women, SNORE very loud to the point that it was waking people up out of their sleep, including me. That’s not something that’s the staff’s fault but it would be nice to actually have a survey done and if you are someone that snores you should be assigned a certain room. It’s only fair to those that need to get sleep and can’t because you snore very loud.
Basically everything. First off all there are no men which is amazing. It’s surprising how safe you feel without them. Nice and good looking facilities. Clean bathrooms, a kitchen with everything you need, a pretty roof top and also a gym. They also host community events almost everyday. The hostel is in a nice and safe area. You have privacy in your bed because of the curtains.
You have to pay for the towels. Come on.
Nice and friendly staff, enough privacy, felt really safe there
It’s a bit far from the center, bathrooms were a bit dirty
The beds were very comfortable. And it was great to have a safe luggage room to put your stuff . Roof top terrace was nice
The luggage room was left unlocked a few times when I went with the key . The location was in the middle of nowhere where . 25 min train ride and no real place to eat . And no one spoke the language. Staff was minimally helpful . Fridge was so disgusting. And no room to put even a bottle of water .
Location,
Kitchen very small for to many people, shower very sleepers, smell cigarettes all over, no towels, no shampoo, no soap, no mat to dry feet after shower
Clean rooms and comfy beds, lots of nice spaces to hang out and relax, like the tv room downstairs and the rooftop terrace. During the day, many people were out so sometimes it was nice to just rest in those areas outside the room. Also was really intrigued by the various activities that were planned for the month, had I stayed longer I would have totally joined in. Bathrooms were also cleaned everyday so it was comfortable to use. The showers were nice and had enough room. It was lovely to meet different people, staff and other boarders were really friendly. I even made a new friend :) I will definitely book again when I travel to Barcelona.
A problem I had was with the kitchen, although it was well-equiped and a good size, there was so much stuff in the fridge and in the pantry boxes, I didn't feel like I could fit things if I bought anything. I barely fit the oatmilk box that I bought for my coffee, I managed to squeeze in the little space I found. Also towards the end of my stay, I saw that the kitchen was super dirty, people had left plates and cooking utensils unclean in and around the sink even though there is a clear sign in front of the sink saying to clean your things after using them. The rooms were sometimes a little too cold, which sometimes meant that you couldn't stay in there for long unless you were under your duvet.
my sister and i stayed here for one night, and i was very pleasantly surprised. i liked everything about Hostelle. the friendly staff (both girls at the check-in desk were so lively and nice), the cleanliness of the place, the atmosphere, the feeling of security, the fact that there were only women there made the whole experience even better, the interior, the amount of different activities that the hostel provides the travelers with, the price, really, everything. you're doing a great job, keep it up. i'm 1000% gonna recommend this place to everyone
