Moderno Hotel

Excellent location, close to ramblas, food market and a lot of restaurants. It is 2 min walk from train station. 5-10 Min walk to Barcelona Cathedral, gothic neighborhood, and Pg. de Gracia. The Tv was not working but room and bathroom were very clean.

One male person at the front desk, was a bit rude. He had like an attitude. He also completed the check in, gave us the room#, Wi-Fi pw but he was holding the room key until We pay for the taxes $9, when the Room charges were already prepaid.

The location was wonderful and the staff were welcoming and helpful. The price for the location was great.

The air conditioner didn¿t work, and the coffee maker, which was down in the lobby and not in the room, didn¿t work either. The room was tiny (but adequate) and could use a bit of upgrading (i.e. shower lining worn; few missing wood laminate tiles).

Customer service. The hotel was overbooked on the day I arrived however, the front desk service immediately upgraded me to another nearby hotel and then walked me over there to ensure I was taken care of at no extra cost. Wonderful service. Thank you.

Location, Location, Location

Room was small (#105). Window not on the street.

The staff was very accommodating and the location was excellent.

The mattresses were uncomfortable and the cleaning supplies used made the room smell like chlorine for hours.

The staff and location are amazing. They went out of their way to make/keep us happy. Our flight was at 8 am and we had to get to the airport before they served breakfast, so they prepared sandwiches and fruit for us to take to the airport instead.

For my first night, we were in room 211, the window opens up next to a restaurant. We left the window opened, the room smelled awful. Luckily, the staff moved us to another room. The towels are also not very clean and the safe in room isnt reliable

We got a room with no view. The window was inside a vertical tunnel. Below us was the kitchen ventialtor. We thought there isan airoplane above us in the morning hours and every smell from the kitchen went inside the room..

Location to Rambla and La boqueria

WiFi connection was poor

The location is very good. A couple of steps to theaters, museums, metro, and restaurants.Stuff on the reception and breakfast area was very friendly. Very quiet at night.

The bed is very comfy , but pillows no.The cleaning lady forgot to give us enough towels several times , and I asked about that on the reception. Last time, she gave us bath towels with holes.

Great location, 3 minutes to metro station and 7 minutes to airport bus station. The most popular touristic sites can be reached on foot in 30 - 45 minutes. Although the hotel is next to La Rambla and vibrant Gothic quarter, it is quiet for good night sleep. Good breakfast is available at the hotel restaurant.

The room is great, but the window is facing a wall with pipes.

The Wi-Fi connection was unstable and frequently disconnected due to a weak signal. Even when I tried using the 5G network, the connection in the room was poor, and I had to go outside to send files. Also, the breakfast did not justify the €15 price.

Breakfast was same all 4 days, fruits were not changed even and they were looking very old. Breakfast quality should improve. Rest all things were perfect. Thx

Great location just off the Rambla in the old town, yet quite quiet given the location. A good and mixed breakfast is provided and the rooftop terrace is very pretty, as was the micro-balcony in the room. The lift access for all floors was welcome, too.

The room décor was rather 90's, a bit worn and could have been better for the price.

Staff are friendly

No kettle in the room, no free coffee/tea or just even bottle of water could have been appreciated much.Bed has very thin sheet; TV has no signal!Low speed wifi.

The location of the hotel was very good in my opinion and the heating of the room was very good, I slept very comfortably at night, and also the bed was comfortable.

I was sad that there were no slippers because the floor was cold, and also, even for someone as small as me, the bathtub was small. I would have liked to put on a real blanket and sleep, but luckily the room's heating system made a difference.

Very happy with the choice, in a perfect location, very close to the metro station, 24-hour reception, with a good breakfast, it's ok for the value. Close to the aquarium and Plaza Catalunya.

There wasn't much to explore on TV since there wasn't a smart TV
