Is not a 4 stars hotel, bathroom is too small, dar away to the comercial zone

The staff is very friendly and courteous, which is what we've come to expect from Marriott! Thank you for the great experience

Great location - right by Sants station. Very nice and clean room, helpful staff, cool modern decor, free wifi

The shower was see-through with no way to fully block the line of sight from the bed to the shower

Staff there are very rude and they didn’t let me check in on time

The hotel was well situated for us being a short walk from the train station. There were also many restaurant options around the property. We didn't utilize the on property dining, however we did go to the bar where we met Rafey who was an exceptional bartender.

The only clear negative was the lack of consistent water temperature in the showers. Even a quick 5 minute shower couldn't hold a consistent temp with wild fluctuations from ice cold to scalding hot.

Location was perfect for us once we figured out the bus / subway

Areas in the bathroom in particular are starting to show wear and tear. Around baseboards in toilet in particular.

The property was clean, staff was friendly and helpful and the accommodations were very comfortable.

The surrounding area was under lots in construction, but that can’t really be helped and eventually it will be done.

Internet is awful, even if you give it a bake High speed it doesn’t become fast!!Restaurnat wasn’t working at all, sandwiches in the fridge on reception!The TV is so old that doesn’t support youtube or netflixHotel is closing after 23:00 and you have to ring.

Perfect location for TGV and local trains and Metro. The room was great with plenty of space and comfortable bed.very good coffee!.The receptionists greeted everyone and were helpful.

The ‘bathroom’ lacked privacy and for two days there was no scrambled eggs at breakfast. The breakfast lacked really fresh bread and fruit.

- The main reason for choosing this hotel from others near the train station was the style (others want colours, I don’t) and spacious rooms, which didn’t disappoint (Standard Plus Room is 25m2). Don’t like the layout of WC, shower and sink all being separate, but maybe it’s a Spanish thing (2nd hotel like this here). - Room temperature was pleasant for January 2026 - didn’t have to use A/C as a heater- I was a bit worried about this area of Barcelona, but just few steps down (opposite from the direction to the centre) there are beautiful vibrant tiny streets with plenty of nice restaurants - Reasonable mini bar prices (soft drink Eur2,5), but more options and more complementary water would be appreciated.

- Read others reviews about breakfast - I wouldn’t choose this hotel if I wanted breakfast - It is on the "wrong" side of the train station. If you travel to the airport or with inter-city trains, you will have to keep walking around / through. There is a nice hotel right on top of the train station if that's the reason you're thinking of this one. - Good sound isolation from the outside street, but you can hear everything in the corridor and the doors banging are too much. - It’s stated that it has a desk, but there is not enough space next to kitchenette and no office chair. Small raised coffee table was available instead.- Only Nespresso coffee option is annoying- No tissues in the room - No bathrobe - WiFi too slow - No toilet brush - why make cleaners life miserable? - Had someone (some inspector) barge in my room while I was still there few times in the morning - not cool.

Breakfast

Air conditioning, not functioning in winter. But I found the room too warm to sleep in.

Avelina was amazing! She was doing everything from checking us in, making taxi reservations for us, to bringing a fan in our room. AC wasn’t cool enough for us but Avelina made sure we were comfortable. She offered to move us to another room but we didn’t want to move all our belongings. We commend Avelina for excellent customer service!

AC wasn’t cool enough and bathroom shower floor had black marks everywhere. It didn’t make sense because the rest of the room and the hotel itself look new. The floor definitely needs to be replaced. And also, the toilet door knob is hard to grip because it is so tiny.

Great location, next to the train station and the metro. Clean, good rooms. Very friendly and helpful staff members.

The room facing the road was noise . All through night there is traffic and people in that road making it noisy

Perfect location right next to the train station. The rooms are clean and look high quality, but are somewhat old.

The staff at the counter seemed quite disinterested in helping and were even gone from time to time. The lower floor and gym are closed for renovation, which is just mentioned offhand on a piece of paper in the elevator. After the stay, Marriott keeps spamming me with their Marriott Bonvoy membership program which I did not sign up for (but you need to give them your email to use the WiFi). Even with repeated unsubscribing, the spam keeps coming.

Location is good.

There was no water during morning when I stayed there. And they fixed it by evening. And during breakfast there was not enough food and they said like I have to come early if I need.

Excellent location - walkable distance to Barcelona Sants station. Breakfast area is neat and well set up.

While the location is excellent, our stay was a poor reflection of Marriott standards.Facility & Infrastructure: Our initial room had non-functional sockets (later resolved). Additionally, the room layout is highly impractical, specifically the awkward integration of the vanity and washroom sink into the living space. The Wi-Fi was also unacceptable—terribly slow and intermittent throughout our stay.Service Failures & Hygiene: We paid for a "Hot Breakfast" rate, yet no hot food was available (only canned beans) due to a missing cook. More critically, the sole server seemed quite ill with cold/cough. This is a clear breach of Marriott's standards.Utility Disruption: We experienced a total water outage in the morning. Since rooms lack phones, I was forced to walk to the lobby twice for updates. The reception staff provided no timeline or proactive communication via email/text, leaving us unable to plan well for the day. The breakfast room staff was kind enough to give us a couple of bottles of water to use in the bathroom as a stop-gap arrangement - again, this was only upon request. Given these significant service gaps and the lack of advertised amenities, I expect a formal follow-up regarding compensation (refund), considering this is tagged as a 4-star hotel.
