It was like a two-star Hotel.

Early morning noise from nearby rooms. No blankets on the first night; replacements were mismatched and unpackaged. Coffee pot was washed in our bathroom and returned for use.

The location was great, the staff was friendly.

That I couldn't control the AC - building seems to be all heat or all AC and it was on heat. My family and I were quite warm.

Clean, good public transport options, breakfast was ok

Not that close to the city center but ok, sad that pool is closed for winter season

I like breakfast. It's very good and there are lots of options..

The bathroom is my point to talk - the fitting in the bathroom is not properly maintained. I stayed 3nights .Day one I found the multiple water leak from shower , day 2 water logging on shower area.. the shower gel are poorly placed it's Brock down again and again .But the good part is one we complain it on reception. These are fixed , But my point is these should be part of pre check actions before allocation the room to any guest.

Super clean and fantastic breakfast.

The heat was hard to regulate.

No smart TV, so I couldn’t connect the youtube. Extra lamp broken, missing coffee sachets every day,

Friendly staff and spacious rooms and bathrooms, it’s not the latest interior design but does the job and the WiFi works very well if you have a call.

No smart TV functionality at all, no cast availability and no applications on the TV, this is not possible for a 4-star hotel

I liked that the view of the room was nice ( they took our wishes in account) the staff was very friendly, spacious room, comfortable matress, very clean every time

The only thing that I can say it wasnt the best is the ventilation/AC. Since we got some lower temperatures outside we wanted to turn the heat on but in the room we stayed it wasnt working properly

The room was very clean upon our arrival, and it was sufficiently spacy for two people. The reception staff were polite and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. The location was very good, next to the Poblenou Ramblas, with plenty of restaurants close by and not far from the beach. There was a bus stop next to the hotel with routes to downtown Barcelona. There was an indoor locked parking and that made it very convenient for us to park our car safely. There was extra safety at the hotel as key access was needed to get even at the reception area and to any of the floors. The rooftop with the pool was also very nice with a beautiful view (even if we have not used it during our stay).

While the room was very clean, the materials were old. This was obvious especially in the bathroom, were humidity has started degrading the furniture. The bathroom ceiling was also not in a great condition and there was one of the covers that fell one day. We appreciated the parking but the spaces were very tight for anything but a small car.

We had the most wonderful stay. Staff were so friendly. Rooms are very spacious and clean. The location is very good and 5 mins walk to nearest metro. Highly recommend and will visit again

Excellent location. Quick walk to the beach or metro to go anywhere in city. One block North had any food option you could want and all we tried were excellent. Room was clean and newly updated. Staff very friendly and helpful with any questions about the area

Pillow on the bed were not the best

Dogs barking late night right next door to us on 3 of our 4 night. We also woke up one morning to a pile of dog poop in the hallway, right in front of the room with the barking dogs. It was the nastiest thing I've encountered during a stay anywhere. Very disappointing. We usually stay at the Paxton but want to try something new. So saddened by our experience. We had our kids with us on their first trip to Europe. Don't know what else I can say.

Great location regarding the beach. A bit far from center but can manage with metro. Quiet.

Pool too small, couls fit like 10 people. Also a bit overpriced. But maybe we were at busy time.. However we think it was a bit expensive since it doesn't offer much

I’ve stayed in this particular hotel I think 6 times as well as one in Malaga, they a very high quality of comfort which makes each stay easy and relaxing.

On this particular occasion I had a room with very limited view.

The location was excellent; everything is within walking distance, including a bus station nearby, and bicycles are available for use. Safety is great, as the doors can be securely unlocked with the provided key. The lobby was really nice and welcoming, and the showers in our room were beyond exceptional.

Housekeeping staff was disturbing us while sleeping, although sometimes we forget to add the sign, and the staff keeps entering our room too many times asking for housekeeping service, which I don't find necessary every day during a long stay. Additionally, I have locked the doors, but housekeeping keeps unlocking our room, which is completely inappropriate and unacceptable. They should respect the privacy and security of guests by not entering multiple times in a day. I've also tried to increase the temperature to the maximum, but it's still cold, and unfortunately, we caught the flu. My brother also got sick. Rooms should be provided with a pack of tissues; it's really strange that I had to buy a pack myself. Tissues are a basic essential for any hotel room. Bathrooms should be equipped with fans to prevent humidity and unpleasant smells.

The staff was great — friendly, attentive, and always helpful. Really appreciated their attitude throughout the stay.

Didn’t like the room design — felt outdated.

* Location is OK in Poblenou and its restaurant/shops if you don't need to be walking distance from the touristy stuff* The lobby and work area look premium and seem to have received the bulk of the investment to look good in pictures

Almost everything else is cheap or mediocre, nothing deal-breaking on its own but it's a repeating pattern, this is not a true 4 star hotel it's a 3 star pretending to be 4-star by ticking classifications boxes with the minimum effort possible.A few examples:* Room is very damp, almost impossible to make anything dry. Only having the AC on fixes the issue, but you cannot leave the AC on without the room key so unless you leave a room key inside when you leave the room will systematically be moist and smelly when you get back.* Pretty much impossible to take a shower without creating a lake at the bottom of the bathtub (not helping the previous issue)* Room furniture looks "design" but it's form over function, it's not very comfortable* Room maintenance needs some help too, joints cracking, false ceiling vibrating with AC etc..* Pillows are way too flat and have poor structure, and the mattress springs are fatigued in the usual places where people tend to sit so the sleeping surface isn't really flat* Pool is what must be a 5x5m square of water on a crowded rooftop with 10 transats for a hotel capacity of over 200...* Breakfast is very forgettable (churros were decent), fruits are almost never properly ripe, pastries and charcuterie won't win any awards, it's good if you just want to fill on calories but you won't look forward to it after a few days* Breakfast room is too small for the hotel capacity when it's full on week-ends, very crowded with staff directing you to sit on specific table, not enough walking space so staff and other guests zoom past and between tables all the time+ all the other little things, toilet paper is gas-station level, room safe isn't bolted to anything so you can just take the safe with you if you want, TV has absolutely no smart functions, the wi-fi is through proprietary web portal to authenticate which makes it unusable on smart devices etc etc...

Location and breakfast are main two advantages of this hotel.

Everything else is mediocre, room is outdated - well overdue for renovation. Swimming pool is verrrry small and reception staff is not even telling you hello when you enter hotel.
