In Edinburgh’s West End, the Cumberland Hotel is located in attractive grounds and offers limited paid parking. Parking can be booked and paid on arrival subject to availability. Princes Street is within easy reach and Edinburgh Airport is a 16-minute drive away. A full Scottish breakfast, along with continental and vegetarian options, is available each morning. There is a residents' lounge, 2 bars and beer gardens at the front and rear for guests to relax and enjoy a drink outdoors. Cumberland Hotel is set within 2 elegant historically listed Victorian buildings, with original features and large rooms. Each room has a TV and facilities for making tea and coffee. There is a bus stop just outside the hotel, with a regular service to and from the city center. Murrayfield International Rugby Ground, Edinburgh International Conference Center and Haymarket Rail Station is less than 10 minutes’ walk from the building.

I chose this hotel because it was close to a friend's house and at the end of town closest to the airport. It was a very basic hotel (3 stars) however, it was very clean and felt safe. I did not have any food or beverage there. I was only there 1 night
Good location

Cons -

The mattress needed replacing. The bathroom was very small but functional. Had the mattress been better, I would have given a higher overall rating.
It is an old building and has not been updated in a long time. Carpet in room was old and windows were old and did not seal properly so it was noisy.

I chose this hotel because it was close to a friend's house and at the end of town closest to the airport. It was a very basic hotel (3 stars) however, it was very clean and felt safe. I did not have any food or beverage there. I was only there 1 night

Good location

It is an old building and has not been updated in a long time. Carpet in room was old and windows were old and did not seal properly so it was noisy.
