First is located a 5-minute walk from the Champs de Mars and a 15-minute walk from the Eiffel Tower. It is a design hotel offering air-conditioned rooms with a private balcony and free Wi-Fi access. Guest rooms and suites at First Hotel are contemporary in style and decorated in black and white. Each has an LCD TW with Free air channels and some have views of Paris’ rooftops or the Eiffel Tower. La Motte-Picquet-Grenelle Metro Station is 984 feet away and provides direct access to Trocadéro and the best views of the Eiffel Tower. Hotel des Invalides is just a 10-minute walk away. A deposit of €50" will be requested as a guarantee either by card or in cash returned on departure.

Pros +

Good location to metro, restaurants and other conveniences. You could walk to a lot of the sites. Staff were really nice.
Location, right next to the Metro. The staff was also very friendly.
Rooms are clean and big for a family of 4.

Cons -

Hair dryer - bring your own if you can.
A light in the bathroom flickered and a floor tile was loose, but those didn't ruin it for us. The room was small, but it worked. And there's a city tourism tax that we were unaware of. It's 8.45 Euro a night per person.

Carpet that smelled like wet dog, elevator that did not, location not as close as you think it is to Eiffel Tower
