Pros +
- We were able to walk along the canal and up to Temple bar. Rooms were clean, bed was comfortable and staff were friendly.
- Location, i.e outside the centre to be quiet but near enough to walk there. Also it has a pool, sauna and spa. The food is good too.
- We loved our check in process. They held our bags until the room was ready. The river views were stunning and the balcony river view was well worth the money. The bus stop for hop on hop off was right outside, and so was the airport bus.
Cons -
- Hotels in Dublin are very expensive, particularly with Exchange for Canadian dollar.
- Nothing worth complaining about.
- A little bit of a walk to get to Temple Bar or other shopping.

Children are permitted to use The Spencer Health Club's 18-yard heated swimming pool between 09:00 and 12:00, and between 14:00 and 18:00. A private, underground car park is available for guest use adjacent to the hotel. This service operates on a first-come, first-served basis and is charged at EUR 25 per 24 hours. The Spencer Health Club is closed from 4th January 2026 until 31st March 2026 for renovation. Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian.
