In central Dublin, this family-run hotel overlooks Phenix Park and is just 656 feet from Heuston Train Station and the red Luas line. It offers 24-hour reception, rooms with flat-screen TVs and light breakfasts. Each refurbished room at the Phenix Park Hotel features a bathroom with a spacious shower and a heated towel rail. Rooms include flat-screen TVs, telephones and tea/coffee-making facilities. Using fresh local produce, a light breakfast is served in the hotel’s French café-style restaurant. Guests can relax in the bar with a pint of Guinness or a glass of wine. The Guinness Brewery and the Dublin Zoo are both less than a 10-minute walk away. There is a stop for the red Luas line, Dublin’s tram, a short walk away, which provides excellent access to all Dublin’s attractions.

Pros +
- Good location-close to the Luas and buses. Helpful staff. Reasonable continental breakfast
- Maybe the location is okay. other than that nothing I will like this hotel.
- It was close to the bus station and had a lovely cafe for breakfast
Cons -
- Room is too small and poor equipped. This is an old building and it's very difficult to move the luggage in and out.
- No washcloths. Americans need their washcloths:) Also, no remote control for the TV. The receptionist said she would try to find one, but couldn't. The TV guy was bringing another , but not before we left.
- hotel rooms were akin to a bad motel six in the states. hotel did not have parking. street parking was difficult, you could only meter park during the day for 3 hour increments. we spent much time raising back to feed parking meters throughout the day.
