This property is a 5-minutes walk from a small lake with a beach in natural park De Oeverlanden. Mercure Hotel Amsterdam West is a 15 minute drive from Amsterdam city center, and a 10 minute drive from Amsterdam Zuid. Schiphol International Airport is a 10 minute drive from the hotel. The bus stop to reach the city center is within walking distance from the property. When on the A4 highway, take exit 1-Sloten and from there Mercure Hotel Amsterdam West is a 4 minute drive. Parking is available on site (surcharge). Rooms are practically-furnished and include comfortable beds, a TV, mini-bar and desk. All bathrooms feature a shower. The on-site restaurant serves international dishes for lunch and diner. In the summertime, guests can enjoy the terrace with garden views.

To reach the hotel from Schiphol Airport, please use public bus 397 direction City Center. You will find bus 397 at bus platform B17. You can buy the tickets in the bus. - Staff was very friendly .
- 1 bus ride to downtown Amsterdam. Very quiet area, very quiet hotel. Excellent staff. Awesome breakfast for ââÂÂì15.
- The shuttle drivers
Cons -
- I stayed here for the airport shuttle. I even emailed ahead of time to check on the service. It ¿wasn¿t available ¿ for my stay. It was a 29 Euro cab ride or 45 minutes on the bus. It is a mile walk to public transport. Dinner for two is 40 Euros.
- Front staff was not very friendly or helpful charged random charges onto our account after talking to them about it
