- I will recommend this hotel Principe Eugenio in Rome,100%, it is all you can expect in an excellent place to stay on vacation. Two thumbs up!
- Big room and bathroom. Good amenities: coffee/tea in room, a/c, big towels, slippers, refrigerator, safe. Clean and room was quiet. Couple who owns the property and mostly at reception are sweet. Great supermarket and famous Gelato place across the street. Nice bar/cafes steps away.
- Room was spacious and cleaned daily. Plenty of room in the bathroom and the hot water was ready all hours.Water pressure was good.Had no issues with the hotel wi-fi connection. There is always someone at the front desk.
Cons -
- Elevator was out of order for our stay except it could be used for luggage. It’s a bit of a hike with luggage to train station. Area close to station is a bit seedy and dirty depending what street you take. Avoid walking on street next to terminal- bad pavement. Walk up to Napoleon buonoparte then left direct to hotel.
- Could have been clear that the price that I booked at did not include breakfast, but that was not a deal breaker for me as there are plenty of options available near by.
- Location and price to value.

Cleaness and room size is quite bigger compared to other hotels in rome
Location and price to value.
Family owned hotel, staff was so helpful and being on our honeymoon we had a wonderful welcome treat in the room!
Location is very “eclectic”. It’s not in the best part of town for walk ability and safety, we felt like. Close to train station and a good coffee spot, but wouldn’t stay in the area again.
My 1st negative review in Italy!!We wanted a hotel near the Termini train station. It’s on a very undesirable street to
LocationStaff attitudeElevator not workingNo breakfast available
loved the full length mirror, bus stop right outside, decent size room with AC
bed was slightly short, but comfortable. we were confused about breakfast because it wasn’t offered but there was a sign for it on a door downstairs
Was goodStaff was very nice and helpful Cleaning each day
The staff was very friendly. Very close to Termini train stain. In the chinatown (Esquilino) neighborhood, and had no issues. Staff came and cleaned the room and restocked items every day. Walkable distance to the city center.
Overall, average price, nothing to complain about. A/C worked well enough.
I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. First of all, there was no internet connection at all during my stay, which made it very difficult to get any work done or even plan my day.Secondly, the hotel was not clean. The room was dusty, the bathroom was in poor condition, and the overall hygiene standards were clearly lacking.Lastly, there seemed to be no proper management. There was no one available to help with basic issues, and the staff appeared untrained and uninterested in guests’ needs.I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, and I definitely won’t be coming back.

The owners of the hotel were very polite and interested.
We couldn't run the heater, our last evening was a bit cold
Clean and comfortabile.Nice and friendly staff.Good italian breakfast.
Rooms were clean and met our expectations. Location is also great, 15 min walk to main terminal.
Lovely, family owned property. A charming, well run hotel. Our room was spotless & straightened up every day. Property was safe & secure. Instructions were clear & good communication throughout our stay. Close walk to Termini train station & many, many Churches, Roman Forum & Colosseum.
The hotel was wonderful to come back to at the end of the day in Roma. It was clean.. quiet.. and a great space. I was in the room with the terrace and it was lovely having nature just outside. Like coming home. The family that run the hotel were fabulous and always there for anything you may need. Their team made the room clean and fresh everyday. It was always nice to come back to. The area is easy to walk to many popular sights and close to the train station and trams. There are many eating places around the hotel to enjoy the food and coffees.I would stay here again when next in Roma.
Very cozy hotel, clean and comfortable, amazing host, very good location, close to Roma termini and public transport, definitely will recommend
Great location! Very clean and comfortable beds. Last but not least-super nice and pleasant people who run this very cozy family type hotel.
it was clean and in a reasonable location
it wasn’t how we thought it would be in regards to the area it was in and was a bit basic but comfortable
The room was very comfort and clean.A very good place for family stay.
Nothing, i think it was a perfect stay in Rome
Great location. The room was really nice and clean. It was cleaned and they changed bedsheets and towels. The staff were kind and friendly. It was worth the money and we really enjoyed our stay there!
