Relais Villa Borghese

This is a jewel of a hotel in Rome. We stayed there in the second half of October. Excellent value for money. The staff--particularly Flavia, Aleksandra, and Elena--were extremely helpful, kind, and professional. The hotel and our room are impeccably clean. There is a handy, small, common dining area--fully equipped with plates, dining utensils, and microwave--where you can eat the food you bring back to the hotel. Relais Villa Borghese is conveniently located. Nearby is the top-rated MordiRoma Mercato Nomentano, where you can buy delicious food or fresh produce. Also nearby is Rosticceria I Molisani, a where they serve the most amazing take-away food. We highly recommend the meat balls. Bus stops to and from Roma Termini are within a 70-metre vicinity of the hotel. If we ever return to Rome, we will definitely stay at Relais Villa Borghese again. One final tip: it might seem that hot water for the shower is tepid or cold. You only need to turn on fully the hot water in the bathroom sink, and you'll get hot water in the shower. This is a plumbing problem from the building as a whole and the hotel should not be blamed for it. Thank you for making our stay in Rome so magical and perfect.

- Location: close to the center and Villa Borghese, bus stops 2 minutes walk- Communication with the staff: all information about registration, keys, doors was shared in advance. The ladies are very responsive and kind!- The room is small, but clean and comfortable- There is a coffee machine and mineral water in the room. There is also a shared kitchenette where you can make tea, use a microwave, get some fruit and candy

Nice staff! very warm welcoming and the room was ready earlier than we expected, which was wonderful. 1. all the rooms are inside their office with password so it felt secured, and it was really great to have someone sitting out in the hall (office) cos other apartments had no one to ask or require anything face to face. 2. good location, cool old-fashioned elevator!

We liked the shower, and the mattress very much. There was a nice neighbor who helped us locate the proper door since Google maps is a bit difficult! Great location to Termini station and our favorite gelato spot!The communication from the owners was great. Lovely coffee machine and coffee pods. Loved how shampoo and shower gel included. Spacious room also.

The room lighting was a bit dark for our tastes, but that is a small minor thing.

Location amazing, clean good communication

No freezer

Great option for a short stay since the rooms are not soundproof so your peace depends on other people. The room is in an apartment with 2 other rental rooms. There's a common area with table and boiler to make some tea. Coffee maker and some sweet snacks are provided inside the room. Exceptionally clean bathroom. Very comfortable beds. Air conditioner worked perfectly - important for summer heat.

Clean, comfortable, little touches were nice. Snacks and coffee were a bonus.

Just a little too far from the city centre for us personally

The guesthouse is very well located near villa Borghese and the city center, near shops and restaurants. The room has everything you need, (even a coffee machine and a minibar with complementary soft drinks), it is nicely decorated, the bed is very comfortable, and as our room was giving onto an inner courtyard, it was quiet.The bathroom is super clean with a lovely shower and everything you need.I enjoyed having fresh fruit available in the kitchen and being able to make a cup of tea.The staff, Aleksandra and Elena, are very friendly and put a lot of heart into making their place as pleasant and comfortable as possible for their guests!

- great bed- very hospitable hosts- great location with many bus connections - had everything one needs on a short trip (little shared kitchen, iron, individual fridge, wardrobe)

- it was hard to sleep with the window open due to some beeping noise coming from the patio. I know that the property’s hosts can’t do much about it, but it was really bothering us at night… - the power outlets were quite old and not exactly compatible with our devices. I advise the guests to bring an extension cord.

It’s not a hotel. There are minimal amenities. The bed is hard and pillows lumpy and hard. The walls are thin and you can hear the noise outside.
