    Pros +

    • Location
    • It is a lovely, small property located in a retrofitted apartment building. The rooms are decorated in muted colors, which offers the eyes an opportunity to rest unlike other properties in the area.
    • The location was great! The room was very basic

    Cons -

    • I entered guests information correctly when booking but price was only for 2 adults and had to pay an additional 400 euros. Had I had known this I probably would have selected a different hotel.
    • The wall and one of the chairs were completely splattered with a dark liquid that should have been cleaned long before we arrived. It was distracting from the the rest of the experience.
    • One of the beds was uncomfortable The closet was too small, for 3 people No trash cans in the room Just in the bathroom The service was very good and very clean.

I can't say as we didn't stay at the G55. Would have liked to as it appeared to be more our style.

We did not stay at the G55 Hotel due to plumbing issues. They put us in their sister hotel, Nomos. We were not thrilled with the semi-modern yet mosque style amenities. Everything was stone and although I like travertine, it was a bit overkill, especially when needing to use the water closet in the middle of the night.

Location was great! Room was large and clean

Sign could have been bigger so our driver and us could have seen easier.

Great location! In the center of everything, a walking distance from all attractions which was a crucial part of our choice. Room was very good, specious, big, great AC, noise isolated. Also there's a supermarket right next to the entrance. The staff was kind, positive, welcoming and paid attention to our needs when we needed.

he WiFi was off from time to time, hot water at the shower was a bit problematic but the staff took care of all when we needed.

Perfect location. Its really in the center. The rooms are clean and the bathroom is not small.

The elevator does not go all the way to ground floor so its a bit challenge if you have a lot of heavy luggage.

It was a great spot, very artistic design and eco friendly. Although it was only for one night, it was enough to see the accessibility to famous spots in Italy. We enjoyed it very much.

There is an elevator that I would have loved to use due to luggage but it was a old style elevator which I sadly did not understand.

Rooms are very spacious, comfortable and clean. Prime location within walking distance of most major attractions. Included breakfast at sister hotel round the corner was excellent. Carolina at reception was very friendly and helpful. Great value for money.

The hotel is in an excellent location, everything we wanted to see within a 30 minute walk and near the taxi rank to the train station. Staff were quick to reply on WhatsApp, we had a small issue in our room quite late at night with the bathroom and staff responded quickly and resolved the issue in minutes.

The rooms in the front can be a bit noisy at night but you are staying in a busy city so I can't imagine you'll get a quiet hotel anywhere, There are stairs, wasn't a problem at all for us but might be something to consider if you have mobility issues.

It’s location is fantastic for all the main tourist sites., and it was clean and comfortable.

    Outside road noise.

The hotel was a great location! Walking distance to most attractions. Rooms were a good size and clean. It was a no frills type of hotel but as I mentioned very clean and the location was very convenient. We were on the first floor and the noise from the streets was definitely an issue but not one that kept me up all night. I would stay here again1

The location, less than a 20 minute walk from most of the popular must see locations in the city.

The ancient elevator. Very scary each time we used it.

    10ThiagoPosted on: 11-2-2025

The location is great. We could reach most of the our pointa of interest by foot. The staff was also great. Very kind reception and helped is through everything we needed.

    2MichaelPosted on: 10-28-2025

We never actually got to see the hotel. Upon arrival there were a ton of stairs leading to the elevator. I spoke to the hotel clerk and she graciously got us a room at another hotel.

This was not ideal for mobility impaired individuals,

    9SannaPosted on: 10-28-2025

    Location was excellent, service too

Own Bar and restaurant would have been plus

    4michaelPosted on: 10-23-2025

central locale; beautiful street scene from window.

this is not a conventional hotel, but rather a collection of rooms on the third floor of a seemingly empty office building. due to a flight delay, I arrived after 10pm and arrangements had to be made for somebody to literally drive down to the hotel and unlock the outer door so that I could get to my room. the room itself, though clean and tidy, was very small. in the end, my experience wasn't a bad one, but don't expect a traditional hotel.
