Venustas Roma Hotel

I enjoyed the location and the woman who checked us in. The room was small but nice and bathroom was also small but everything worked fine.

One night, there was a very loud group that came into the hotel. They were walking around talking laughing, trying to open up room doors. They came to our door and started to wiggle the handle aggressively to try to get it. It all occurred around 2:30 in the morning and was scary. I sent a message to the staff and got no response.

The hotel seems good to me for a quick stay.... value for money. Good restaurants near by.. location is good.

We're greeted at check-in. After that, we didn't encounter anyone else, not even at checkout. I believe security is provided by cameras. The air conditioning in my children's room didn't work.

Very well located. Up to 15 minutes walking from most of the attractions. Lots of restaurants, bars, buses, and metro stops. If you're getting the shuttle bus from FCO airport, it is 6 minutes walking from the Vatican stop, which makes it faster and cheaper than getting the Leonardo Express. The staff was very kind. The room was very spacious.

No breakfast option. It was hard to find the entrance when we first got there. The shower drain was kinda clogged, and water would fill up during showers. It would also leak to the rest of the bathroom. The bathroom wasn't very clean, with small black debris in the corners of the shower stall. The shower itself was also bad, with many clogged outlets. AC could not handle the heat of June.

- Noisy place (neighbors, lobby (close to our room) and the street- Bathroom window lock was roughly repaired and blocked in open position (made the room noisy and cold)- Top of the shower head has never been cleaned (sticky)

There was no breakfast available.

There was a few things that needed looking at.Example:- loose plug socket in bathroom.Outer door on the fridge cabinet needs adjusting so it doesn't scrape along the floor.

Very clean and spacious. Location is perfect and the host is super friendly and helpful.

TV is not smart and the bathroom is a bit old.

There was no hot water all night. And the next day too. I was told that there was no staff there to deal with any issues

I stayed there in the middle of winter in January, but there was no hot water when I tried to take a shower at night. There was no night staff at the reception. I called but they said they couldn't respond immediately, so I went to bed without taking a shower. There was no hot water the next morning either, so I ended up checking out without a shower and with a dirty body. It was the worst hotel stay I've ever had. If you want to keep yourself clean, I don't recommend this hotel.

Great location near the river but close to all the main shops, 10 min walk to Vatican City. Room was spacious, cleaned every day and cosy king size bed. Leonardo was very helpful in recommending places to go, eat and drink.

Nothing. We didn't drive but we could see that there's limited parking. It can be found but it's not easy. By the way, it was Christmas week.

The location that was good. It was plenty places to eat breakfast nearby.

The toilet was dirty, there was a brown "cream" on the bootm of the toilet.The tap of the shower was broken and I couldn't use it.After the booking I've been informed that they charge up to 80 euro for a late checkin.

safe was not useable. not secured to a shelf. someone could walk away with it ? and receive instructions on how to get combination or change. door was locked. . friends safe wasn’t a secret combination. Should be a combo we set and the safe secured to a wall or shelf.

We found this room to suite our needs. The size was fine and location centrally located.

We found without proper signage upon arrival, you don't know where to go. Very confusing for out of towners....ie once the taxi drops you on the street and you enter the large lovely wooden doors into a courtyard....where is the sign that says..."ok, now you have to schlep everything up four flights of stairs to get to the hotel."The bed/pillows were not quite as comfortable as I would have liked (left back and neck sore). The shower was a bit tired (mold/silicone goo around the base making it look unfinished and not updated/tended to for some time as well as a constant drip from shower head that needed you to leave it down on the shower floor to not hear the drip drip drip sound) and the sink and shower drains were clogged so you'd shower and have to watch the water level didn't overflow the shower basin onto the floor. We notified the contact to have someone look into it. All in all this is not a huge deal/nor deal breaker but just giving honest feedback where improvements could be made.

Nice and tidy hotel, with very friendly staff. But the most important thing - outstanding location: 10-15 minutes walking distance from the must-see touristic locations, including Tiber river and many nice restaurants close to that area.

Would be great if the team pay some more attention to add-ons in the rooms - like shower gels, etc.

Location was safe and in an accessible location.

Proximity to a bar/club was extremely loud and can hear the music through the windows. The floors were very dusty. Shower and bathroom has very low water pressure and the shower was leaking.

The Wi-Fi wasn’t working for half of our stay; the hotel is on the 4th floor and often the elevator wasn’t working.
