Cons -
- No. Lots of steps but well worth it!!
- No complaints.
- I would strongly advise future guests to avoid this hotel. We had to urgently leave due to a medical situation, which we clearly explained to the receptionist. He confirmed that he had no authority to help, charged only the city tax, and told us to email our request for a refund for the unused nights.Despite this, the hotel refused to refund even the two nights we did not stay, showing zero understanding or empathy for the situation. Instead of support, we received cold, dismissive communication and excuses about “protocols” that were never mentioned while we were there. It’s extremely disappointing to see a hotel prioritize money over basic human decency. If you value compassion, transparency, and professionalism, look elsewhere.

Wonderful staff. Great location. Clean and ultracomfortable room.
This was an outstanding choice for a hotel. The location is excellent just blocks from Piazza Navona. Hotel employee was wonderful; helpful and friendly. Rooms were clean and well serviced and we were lucky enough to get a complimentary upgrade our last night.
Service, Breakfast was excellent
Breakfast was delicious! Nice variety of items. Service was good as well. Location was amazing! Close to all must see tourist sites. Located on a beautiful quiet street filled with shops and restaurants.

Very central, small scale and personal. Great small breakfast (lovely omelets with different ingredients!). Thank you!
Nothing. Sometimes we had a little bit of street noise if the window is open. That is part of being in the center.
Accessible. Walking distance to Novena, Pantheon and Trevi Fountain .
You have to bring charger adaptor .People are loud in the back building .No air condition.
We love, love the location and that is why we return. We started staying here years ago when it was an historic hotel, with historic details and big, luxurious rooms. It has been modernized and the second and third floors reconfigured. Gone are the gracious bedrooms and bathrooms. Now you will find very small rooms that are very modern and all black and white. The new walls are thin, paint chips easily and they no longer have the old Rome luxury feel. However, there is now an elevator (so pleased that the original staircase was left), the large dining/breakfast area on the second floor was moved to a small space on the first floor with a small reception space. The staff could not be more accommodating. They are friendly, helpful and so courteous. The breakfast was lovely, but very crowded into a small space. The staff made all the arrangements for our transport wherever we wanted to go. The location is amazing! Close to shops, restaurants, walking distance to many historic sites. We miss the old hotel, but would recommend this hotel for the immensely courteous service.
The black and white motif does not stand up well to constant use. The chipping paint makes it look like it is not cared for. The lack of carpet makes every noise heard between rooms. Better lighting would also be helpful as well as more than one chair per room.
Two staff members that really tried hard to make our stay more pleasant. A special thanks to Luca and Bianca for their assistance and kindness.
The first room we were assigned was small, cramped and the showerhead was filthy with mold. A couple of the lights in the room did not work at all. After complaining, we were given another room. The layout was the same but still cramped although clean. The towel warmer did not work in either room and we were told these were turned off in October. The last two nights of our five night stay, the air conditioning was turned off and we had to complain 3 times before we were finally told there was nothing that could be done and were given a fan. The stay was very expensive for the five days. We were really upset and felt lied to.
The location of the hotel is perfect on a beautiful street. The breakfast is good by Italian standards (normally just a pastry and coffee) but Coronari Palace had a great selection. The staff were very helpful and kind. Roof top bar was lovely. Just a shame it was only open 1 night out of the 4 nights we stayed.
Rooms were a little rundown. We couldn’t adjust the aircon. The fire alarm went off 2 nights in a row at exactly the same time. Both false alarms. All guests had to stand in the street for an hours each time in their pjs. The hotel is not manned after 10pm so there was no staff to help report the alarm or stop the extremely loud noise. The guests were all very frustrated. The fire alarm issue has not impacted my rating as these things happen but perhaps the alarm system needs some maintenance. I felt sorry for the reception staff in the mornings after the alarm as guests were complaining and expressing their frustrations. Obviously not the young man’s fault at reception. Who by the way, was very helpful and kind.
We loved the location, so convenient to everything! The property was well kept. The service staff was amazing and ready to meet your requests and needs with a sincere smile.
Our room was small, compared to American standards.
Very convenient to the Vatican, Piazza Navona, Pantheon and very walkable to other attractions. It’s on a walkable street with lots of shops and restaurants. The room was very quiet. Breakfast was plentiful and caffè to order.
Room was very small but adequate for two. Needs a bit of freshening up. Slightly shabby.
Modern looking, stylish hotel with nice and helpful staff. Unexpected perk - a vibrant bar on the terrace with roof views. Included breakfast was good as well.
V Friendly staff who were keen to help. Good location. Quiet at night. Comfortable bed. Very clean. Good selection of books/guides. Coffee was nice.
Breakfast was really not good. Nothing was labelled so you didn’t know what the contents of the pastries and croissants were. The cooked breakfast was totally inedible. Fried eggs as solid as frisbees and scrambled eggs completely solid. Little sausages I think out of a tin (or like frankfurters). Tinned fruit salad. Pastries were not bad. And the coffee was nice My First morning I had the cleaning trolley outside my room banging and crashing from 7.30 til about 9.15am , which was a pity as I was v tired. The plumbing in the bathroom was disappointing. The water pressure in the shower was ok if you held the hose, but from the overhead it was like a dribble. The sink didn’t drain well. The toilet water kept running continuously and noisily after a full flush (the staff dealt with this when I mentioned it). There was apparently a knack to stopping it but no one had told me so my first nights sleep was not good. No milk in the bedroom for tea or coffee. Paper cups.
Breakfast was delicious! Nice variety of items. Service was good as well. Location was amazing! Close to all must see tourist sites. Located on a beautiful quiet street filled with shops and restaurants.
