Pros +
- Breakfast attendants were amazing! Front desk staff was helpful. Location couldn't be beat!!
- Staff was great and hotel was clean
- the location of the hotel room was perfect! The breakfast in the morning was great. we had 4 people (2 teenagers), they provided 2 extra single beds for them. we were hardly in our room, so it was ideal.
Cons -
- The bed was hard and the pillows were flat.
- There is not lobby to hang out, the room's floor was doing doing lots of noise every time I took a step, incredible bad when you are trying to sleep
- The mattress was just a bit stiff for my back. And the room has some lights (emergency, smoke detector, and hallway) that cannot be turned off, so for people with light sensitivity might not be ideal. However the blinds shut the outdoor light completely so that's a tough one.

The staff was so nice and helpful!
The room was comfy and had everything we needed. AC worked perfectly and it was clean and tidy. The staff was wonderful and very nice to us and our baby.

The location was great. It was clean and the staff friendly.
Although the breakfast had an option for most people, I felt it could have a few more options.
The location is exceptionally close to Termini Rail Station (easy 10-12 minute walk even with kids and luggage) and central to all the sites (Colosseum, Forum, and Piazza de Popolo all within 10-20 minute walk). Vatican is about 30 minute walk, but everything is picturesque and enjoyable along the way. Room was larger than a standard US hotel (1 king/queen and 2 x singles all together) but bathroom is smaller than normal (American style toilet, bidet, sink, and standup shower). Air conditioning was wall mounted but blew cool air and provided good white noise to drown out some of the street noise from Avenida Nazzionale. The Italian style breakfast was outstanding (biggest selling point besides location). Fresh bread, croissants, baked goods, cheese, ham, hard boiled eggs, fresh fruit, juice, yogurt, cereal, and a barista on a genuine cappuccino machine to make any style coffee you’d like… easily a 10-15 Euro value per person per day). Additionally, the staff was quite generous and helpful… we arrived relatively early in the morning, but they allowed us to store our bags until check in, provided excellent recommendations for site seeing, restaurants, and even loaned us a charging adapter for our electronics.
There was some restoration work involving power tools on the mezzanine level below us, but they never started work before 0830. The hotel is a single floor in an older building, so the elevator can only accommodate 1 person with bags (or 3 without) though the three flights of stairs up are perfectly doable. It’s all wood-paneled floors on cement, so noises will tend to carry from outside the room, though other than some occasional light talking inside and a few emergency vehicles driving down the avenue it’s fairly easy to get some good shuteye.
I liked everything in this hotel.Receptionist welcomed me and took my luggage to the room.He explained to me what I can see in Rome close to the hotel and how I can get there. It was very helpful. I felt like I had someone who really looks after me.He booked the taxi for me and went downstairs to check if it was the right one.Breakfast was good. Location perfect to get everywhere.in Rome.It is close to the main station and Metro. Many bus stops in front of the hotel.I can highly recommend this hotel to everyone.
Considering it's the third time I stayed at the St. Moritz, I would say that I like the location, I simply love walking through via Nazionale, so near to the most important monuments and full of shops. The room was comfortable and spotless. I would like to praise the personnel, especially the receptionists: they were very professional and so kind to help me promptly with my requests.
The elevator is small, but it's a minor detail for such a beautiful historic building. Overall my staying at St. Moritz hotel was super positive!
Disappointing
They only had ONE toaster in the restaurant for the whole of hotel. If you want a slice of toast, you either had to beat everyone to the dinning room or be really, really patient and wait your turn, which can take a while. We stayed in January and it got quite cold in the room, since the heating is off for most of the day and night. They turn it on at 6 pm and off at 9 pm. There’s an AC unit, but it’s either too hot or too cold, no middle ground.
Location, nice staff, good light breakfast
Smallest room I’ve seen. Staff just doesn’t talk or understand English. Elevator is very small and says occupied every time.
I’ve stayed and even paid the city tax there but somehow the hotel cancelled it and it says that I’ve not showed up.

The location is superb. The staff were very helpful. The place was clean.
It is very old fashioned to have sheets and blankets rather than duvets and this is really bad for my asthma and breathing. Also the pillows were very hard. A kettle in the room would have been nice but when I asked for hot water I was given a kettle. Breakfast was very basic and if you didn't like sweet things and didn't eat meat, not great.
Cleanliness and location Staff was extremely friendly

Good location, kind staffs and nice breakfast
It would be nice if the breakfast time was a little longer
Location, big room
Breakfast is good. Can be better
The front desk was very helpful in suggesting places to eat, calling for taxis and car service to airport. The staff was 10/10.
