Hotel Canova

It is close to all major land marks in Rome, Very clean,the staff is very friendly and helpful. The room for 3 was very private, since it has a wall dividing the two beds. Me and my family loved Hotel Canova. I recommend it.

Situation in Monti Neighbourhood - within walking distance of most important sites. Good standard, helpful staff

Nothing. It was all good. Just need to be aware that the shower takes a few minutes to heat. It would have been nice to have coffee left in the room but overall we had a lovely time

I liked the staff and the placement

When we arrived there was trash in the bin still, the door to the toilet didn’t fully close, not enough electric sockets, and the soap felt a little cheap (same soap for body and hair)

Staff and cleanliness

No privacy; you can hear everything in the next room even the light switch. No staff after 9pm. You can’t check in late. Only one very small elevator.

Lack of organization by the staff.I asked in advance through Booking what the cost would be to arrive 7 days earlier (to extend my stay), and they asked me to continue the conversation by email. In the email, they told me I would be charged €300 in total.At the time, I was in London and already had a hotel booked there, but because they offered me this price, I decided to go to Rome earlier. When I arrived at the hotel, they charged me double the amount, saying it was a staff mistake and that I would have to pay almost €600 for the 7 days, which was completely outside my budget.I left another country trusting the information they sent me by email, and I ended up having to spend those 7 days in another hotel that was very bad. They made the mistake and didn’t seem to care where I would stay. What was supposed to be an enjoyable trip turned into an exhausting experience.

Everything was absolutely great, location is perfest for sightseeing, you can walk everywhere, room was clean and comfortable. Staff was super friendly and service was great.

Firstly, the location is excellent, a 10-minute walk to the Colosseum. The staff is polite and kind. I recommend this hotel to everyone!

We had stayed there on a previous occasion, so knew the hotel. It is in an ideal location in the monti district of Rome. Walking distance from Termini train station, and from the Colosseum and Forum. There is no breakfast available, but plenty of cafes nearby for coffee and croissant, as well as a choice of restaurants for a meal. The hotel is comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful.

The location was superb few steps from Roma Termi train station and bus station too. Close to attractions and walkable around city centers. The hole is very clean mostly the toilet. The staffs are nice too i had no issues staying here at all my Rome experience was superb.

The room was too small and they gave me two small beds in different areas.. WiFi is not so good.

The hotel staff were friendly, approachable, and even had a great sense of humor, which made check-in and check-out a breeze. The location was also convenient — close to the train station and within a good distance of many tourist attractions.

The room was quite small, and with two large suitcases plus a carry-on, the space felt cramped and not very practical. The showerhead was also a bit old, and the water pressure wasn’t the best.

Loved the location, awesome neighborhood, wonderful restaurants. Staff was friendly and helpful.
