- All of the staff at the hotel were wonderful. They made restaurant and taxi reservations for us. They were very helpful giving us directions. Great location, just around the corner from the Spanish Steps, taxi stand and tons of restaurants & shops.
- I¿ve stayed in Hotel Piazza Di Spagna for eighteen years and hope to stay in it for many more. It is wonderful; the staff are the absolute best. I highly recommend it.
- Amazing and polite staff. Room was great for just one person. Had no issues whatsoever.
Cons -
- A kettle in the room would be handy.
- I cannot believe o was charged $1,500 for 2 nights in that dump. This was a getaway for our 40th wedding anniversary and was the worst time of our lives. I will not be recommending Booking.com to anyone. And I will be submitting photos to all the review sites
- I’d like to have a kettle, a coffee machine and maybe a little more light in the room but that’s not critical.

Excellent location, comfortable room, perfect for a short stay and very well-priced.

1- The hospitality of the staff 2- The location 3- The room space
This was probably the worst hotel I have ever stayed in and will never use booking.com again. I don’t know where to begin from the 3 overseas calls I made to the hotel to ensure we had a quiet room and no response. Just call back tomorrow when we arrived I asked if we had a quiet room and was told yes it’s only noisey In summer. Our room was on the first floor next to the breakfast room and directly over a cafe lined narrow street. Late night revelry and garbage pick up all hours. The bathroom shower head was broken and woild not stay in it’s holder so sprayed everywhere. A high tub to climb over to stand in. Very slippery peeling wall paper mold in shower. When I complained the front desk said we could have free breakfast this morning. When I went in at 7:30 to get a coffee. All closed up. When o asked downstairs. They said oh holiday we open cafe late. No one cared helped with luggage. Not sure how it stays in business. We ended up having drinks at Thr Pantheon hotel and inquired about rooms. They had rooms for $500 a night brand new with all amenities. Shame on Booking.com and shame on this hotel. Also the safe was broken and only would take 2 #’s.

It was my second stay at the hotel! I recommend it, perfect location and service.
The perfect location and the amazing staff.

Staff exceptional Breakfast value for money
Hotel too old, but clean
From the moment we walked in the door the staff was fabulous. Polite, accommodating and kind! Also the housekeeping staff were wonderful. Rooms were cleaned daily.
I liked it all
We stayed for one night before an early flight, so we didn’t get to try the breakfast. The location was fantastic—very central and perfect for exploring. We hopped on the Hop-On Hop-Off bus nearby and were able to see all the important sights with ease. The room was clean and a bit small, but that’s expected in historic buildings, and it was perfect for my husband and me. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
The location was very good. The room was spacious.
It was not clean. The lobby was too small.
It was quiet, comfortable, and very convenient.
No view from room.

This location was right by the Spanish steps. The staff was very friendly and even treated us to a room upgrade and bottle of local sparkling wine as we noted we were on our honeymoon. We loved the staff and the room!
The hallways have a mild cigarette odor but the room was perfect.
We are repeat guests since 2009. We have recommended the hotel to friends. Exceptional value.
The location was excellent for people without a car as there are many restaurants, shops, cafés immediately walkable in the vicinity of the hotel. We literally walked to all the main attractions in Rome (Trevi fountain, Colosseum, Forum, Popolo Piazza, Castel Saint Angelo, the Christmas cake building !), including walking to the Vatican ! The lady on Reception (unfortunately I don’t remember her name), was very helpful with any issues we had. We only took breakfast on the first day as my niece is vegan so she couldn’t really eat very much from the choice on offer. For me breakfast was ok as there were scrambled eggs, fruit, and pastries
The bathroom was long but very narrow and we had use the toilet sitting at an angle ! The bed was too close to the wardrobe so I had to do gymnastics to open the wardrobe door to access my clothes and the safety box !
Excellent location within short walking distance of Spaniah steps and most major attractions .Great choice of breakfast for a European hotel.Plenty of restaurants literally within a few steps of hotel. Great shopping all around from Top Designers to gift shops, pharmacies ,mini supermarkets , ice cream parlours etc.And lovely friendly staff.
Not the hotels fault , but we stayed in room 112 and sometimes early morning workers such as deliveries etc might wake you a little earlier than you would like as traffic can pass through the street inwhich hotel is located.. This can be said for many of the accommodations in Rome centre as traffic is never far away.Easy to reach from myero station.
Very close to restaurants and the Spanish Steps. Walking distance to the metro and numerous other sites and shops.
We were there only one night. 730 pm until 730 am. It was close to the Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps, the staff was wonderful, the room was well stocked and thoughtful for comfort, it was a beautiful hotel.
The room was tiny, had to squeeze our luggage into walking areas. The elevator was tiny and no windows. I’m somewhat claustrophobic so we took the stairs. Thankfully we were on the second floor.
