    • Location is great. Front desk staff and bell staff are excellent and kind.
    • Friendly service.
    • Location, location, location. We could easily walk to any of the sights we wanted to see. Staff was friendly and helpful too.

    Cons -

    • "King size" Room was way too small - not good for more than one night. Not worth the cost or up to Hilton standard. Bathroom rarely had hot water available in shower. Many channels on TV didn't work
    • No dresser to put clothes. One lamp did not work. Cot was uncomfortable. No movie channel. Phone "0" did not not reach reception. Mini-bar was not refilled twice.
    • It's not that we didn't like anything. Just know it's an older hotel with older furnishings and features.

The young lady at check in was excellent but the older gentlemen at check out was very rude and unwilling to help.

Excellent central location. It was easy to walk to all the major sites. A taxi might be required to get to the vatican, but all the others were in walking distance.

The room was a little small by American standards, but that's to be expected when traveling in Europe.

The staff were so helpful and lovely. The location was fantastic for easily exploring the beautiful areas in Rome.

The location of the hotel was the reason that we stayed and we weren't disappointed.

    Location

Mould in the bathroom all over the ceiling, very strong smell of mound as well

Tiny rooms and bath room, no air condition it was too warm and reception has advised us to keep the room window open. not value for money at all

Incredible location right in the heart of the tourist district of Rome. Near good Cafe's and restaurants. The room was clean and well furnished and the staff were pleasant and welcoming.

Terrible nights sleep, very noisy hotel where you could clearly hear the corridor and adjoining rooms. This alongside a very uncomfortable bed ruined my stay in Rome and was a big challenge for the business meetings that I had. The Wifi and Air Conditioning in the room didn't work which made it very challenging to work in the space.

The room was clean. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were terrible. The shower was good and the water was hot. The staff were friendly although often had no answers about the area.

No public area to sit, maybe have a drink. No restaurant worthy of the name. Breakfast: no fresh fruit, tired scrambled egg and bacon, very small area. Lift absolutely tiny, plus stairs to climb to get to the lift and more stairs between the lift exit and the actual floor. Room badly laid out and uncomfortable. Reception who recommended restaurants that were closed. Hard to believe it’s 4 star. What you get is a bed and a bathroom.

    Convenience

You had to pay $25 for breakfast regardless if you ate a full spread or wanted a cup of coffee. No flexibility on breakfast which isn’t very Hilton. Also rooms are tiny!

very clean and modern! staff were very nice and helpful gave recommendations for rooftops as well. They also knew it was our honeymoon and delivered a bottle of prosecco and biscotti which made us so happy on our last night in italy! so we appreciated that a lot !

    no complaints!

    7ChrisPosted on: 3-31-2025

Location was 10/10 - all the City highlights can be accessed by walking.

The room size was tiny, also on a busy road so sleeping was a challenge.

    10RickmadrigalPosted on: 10-25-2024

Breakfast was included with room. Attendant kept bins stocked and had good coffee, eggs, ham (bacon), cold cuts, breads and pastries. Breakfast was good enough to get you going in the morning, Remember you don't want tyo load up at hotel, since part of the awesome Italy experience while you're out and about visiting sites you want to try the local small pastries shops and coffee, sweets and gelato... so don't fill up at hotel

Although room was a good size compared to other european hotels our room at the Cosmopolita didn't have any drawers so basically spent three days with clothes in suitcase.

location is okay i would say not really in the central

the umberlla wasnt provide it guests has to buy it for themselves so when you plan to stay at their place you have to get your own

Great location. Right in the heart to Venice. Very friendly staff. Made us feel like royals. Breakfast was delicious

I think the only thing I liked about the property was the location and that it was clean hotel.

Rooms are the sizes of matchboxes, walls are paper thin, you can hear conversations from next door at 2am.When I asked for an upgrade and would happily pay, they claimed they didn’t have but it was available on their website and bookings. I think the staff was not bothered with the process of changing. If you’re planning to stay just for the location then it’s fine, after a long day of walking around room you kind of want to spread out and relax which was not possible in the way the room was designed. I would also like to comment that the pictures provided on the bookings.com don’t reflect the actual size and look a lot more spacious.
