Comfort Hotel Bolivar

Location, friendly staff, nice bed

Room got hot, air conditioning not effective, not sure it would be tolerable in the Summer but we were there in November. Not a fan of the shower and bathing cloths were more like table cloths, but maybe a Rome thing

The location of the hotel is a great central location to the Vatican and Roman Colosseum (ten minute walk) as well as other notable tourist attractions.The staff was very responsive and helpful.I loved the shuttle service. Definitely would stay again.

There was not really anything that I did not like about the hotel.

Staff was very helpful and arranged transfers, etc for us. This hotel was beautifully decorated and updated. It was very clean with and the location was excellent. We were very happy with our accommodations and would highly recommend.

The check in staff- very friendly. Using this to finish DID NOT LIKE: - the bed was two twin mattresses. First night, I turned in my sleep and bed parted like Red Sea did for Moses. Not even a fitted sheet to hold the twins in place. Geesh.

1) breakfast staff needs to have a little bit of English knowledge or have signage explaining various items in various languages. 2) a ¿queen¿ bed in my understanding for booking is an actual Queen, I has two twins pushed together - no fitted sheet!

The location of this hotel was nice close to Trevi Fountain and also close to many other attractions.

The hotel was like a 2-3 star experience. There was no coffee maker, tea pot in the room, adjustable AC, shampoo or conditioner, hand towels or washcloths (only provided bidet towels and bath towels) and the cups in the room were plastic. Beds were hard.

The location is central but the access is littered with garbage which does not get picked up

The location was excellent, close to many famous landmarks and a short walk to the hop on hop off tour bus. The property was clean and tidy and exactly like the photos. All staff were very friendly and helpful.

9 or 10 of us have been travelling to Rome every other year since 2000 for the Italy v Scotland rugby match. This is the first time we stayed at the Hotel Bolivar and the reception we received was excellent. The staff were very friendly, the hotel very clean, the rooms smart and comfortable and the breakfast was the perfect start to the day. We will definitely be returning in 2028!!

Couldn't fault it! every aspect of our stay exceeded our expectations.

Great location, perfect for the Colosseum, Pantheon and the Trevi Fountain - all within 10/15 min walk.

Although in what appears to be in a quiet location we did find it quite noisy outside at night but maybe we were unlucky on that Saturday and Sunday night.
