Hotel Caracciolo was a great option for our first stay at home. It's a reasonable walking distance to many tourist spots in Rome and is really close to Santa Maria Maggiore, a must-see in Rome. The receptionist that greeted us, Camila, was absolutely brilliant and made us feel very welcomed in Rome. She helped us a lot with locations and addresses and was extremely nice and helpful. There isn't breakfast at the hotel but they offer a discount a really good nearby café with great staff and good food options. The rooms are clean, comfortable and the bathrooms are new or recently reformed. It was a wonderful stay and we would sure come back when we return to Rome.
This was a great little hotel, there is nothing we could suggest for improvement. Everything was clean and tidy and the recommendation for café breakfast at espresso 32 was great too. We want to especially thank Camilla for the way in which she welcomed us, provided information and had a great sense of humor. We really enjoyed the stay for the friendliness of staff as much as the beautiful sights of Rome.

It was the only cheapest room available at that time within city.
The location is near Termini station, not an ideal place to stay. Also the rooms are quite old even though they were clean and all facilities were there but still i find it was not good value for money that i paid.
Location and the staff
Lack of amenities like kettles in the room
Location, cleanliness, friendliness of staff, comfy bed, internet connection
Shower box leaking onto bathroom floor
Staff and cleanliness
The actual location seems to be in a bit of a run down area. We were a bit nervous coming back at night so always came back before too late. But the hotel cannot be blamed for that. Also its only 10min from train station.I would strongly recommend adding tea/coffee/kettle facilities to each room
There is no restaurant in the hotel, but you do get free coffee and tea. The room was great, very good pillows a big bathroom with wheelchair accessibility.
The location was not the best, I am talking about the surroundings, which look somewhat dangerous, but it is very close to the metro and bus station, as well as the Colosseum. Overall, it's just an unappealing area outside.
The staff was very kind.
Our room is on the ground floor and the street were the hotel is located are very scared, so we do not sleep comfortable.
Helpfull receiption and friendly . Secure place, clean rooms and managed well
Everything was great
Friendly staff, close to Termini, very clean
Though it’s close to Termini, hotel area is a bit slum. So if you are travelling by foot or you are a single female I can guarantee that you won’t like this place.

Checking was fast. It has plenty hot water. The reception was very helpful.they have a working towel hot rack.
The area was slightly bad specially coming down from the termini station.we didn’t have a kettle in the room to make tea.
The interior of the property was nice and well maintained
The air in the room was stuffy. I did not like the location with the area being not so safe. Also the fact that there is NO STAFF during the night. One of the staff members, Camilla, was rude, obnoxious and borderline racist - commenting on me and my friend’s names which are Indian names as we are of Indian origin. She had no right Whatsoever to comment on our names. Also knowing we were staying for one night in Rome, Camilla took nearly 20 mins in explaining the process of our room access and the security system of the hotel. She probably thought she was being funny and hospitable but it came across otherwise.
Central location, clean and helpful staff
A bit overpriced
Amazing and friendly staff, really helpful tips on what to see.Clean and tidy, noisy area but the rooms are nice and quiet.
We arrived at 8 a.m., checked in immediately, and didn't have to wait until the check-in time.
If you don't have early check-in, you can't enter the hotel or leave your luggage until check-in time
