- A wonderful hotel with attentive staff. Quite close to the Vatican in a generally convenient area. Breakfast on the terrace is a visual as well as gustatory treat.
- We met the owner and she told us that the hotel is family owned and the staff has been there a long time and everyone was very helpful. And the hotel is very conveniently located to the tVatican and directly across the street is a nice family restaurant.
- The location to the Vatican was AWESOME. Very clean rooms, upscale decor. We especially liked the rooftop patio.
Cons -
- Breakfast could be beter. The bathroom smelled like sewage.
- We were on the third floor. The only elevator was not working. We arrived on Wednesday and I understand the elevator had been out of service for several days. My wife and I are in our seventies and it was challenging. The elevator was working later in the evening.
- There were several strange issues with the property. First, the elevator was out of service. Second, the key needs to be e left with the desk when you leave the building and you must ring the door bell to get buzzed in. Not so bad, but they are short staffed and we had to wait a while to get a response. They were taking the trash out and weren’t at the desk. Did I mention they are very short staffed? We did hear as we were leaving that they are closing for renovations in a few months.

The hotel was closed down for renovation works and our group was transferred to Coronari Palace Hotel, very close to Piazza Navona.
Close to the Vatican Nice neighbourhood lots of activities and restaurants especially for the evening

Proximity to the Vatican and good dining areas.

The staff (Fabrizio and Leonardo) were all great. They were very helpful and spent a good amount of time helping us craft our visit itinerary.

The breakfast was very nice. It is possible to sit outside on the terrace where feral parrots (african ring necks and quakers) perch in the potted olive trees. The coffee was really good. There was a deep soaking/jacuzzi tub in the room. We really did not have time to use it but I was tempted after so much walking!
The hot water went out twice. The terrace was open in the evening but there was no food or beverage service up there. The desk clerk told us we could purchase beer, wine, prosecco or pop from their cooler to take up there or bring something in from outside. Not the worst option.
Location was excellent, room was nice along with the view
Breakfast was limited but nice surroundings
Lovely place. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Location was pretty nice. Close to the Vatican and we were able to walk everywhere we needed to go.
Excellent location close to the Vatican, lively area with good restaurants
The hotel is in an excellent location, very close to the Vatican, restaurants and relatively close to the Metro. The hotel has real character. Yes, the facilities are somewhat dated but work. All the staff were exceptional. The breakfast, on the rooftop terrace, was very good.Would definitely stay again.
Excellent location and a very friendly staff.
The building is very old and thus all facilities are old (small and old elevator, stairs, even to reach the elevator, small rooms).
Great breakfast and so close to St. Peter's and the Vatican and nice shopping. Very friendly staff!! TOP RECOMMENDATION.
The location was good, within walking distance of the Vatican and a metro station, and with restaurants, a pharmacy and a supermarket close by. Breakfast was good. The staff were really helpful as well – my stay included breakfast, but I had to leave early in the morning on my last day and the staff kindly packed several items into a meal bag for me.
While clean and comfortable, the room lacked the most basic amenities that are standard offerings even at 3-star hotels with cheaper room rates: a kettle with some coffee and tea, drinking water, a box of tissue paper, moisturizer. Hence poor value for money.
nice staff, decent breakfast, great location
The Hotel is conveniently located next to the Vatican. We chose this hotel because we had a morning Vatican tour, and it was the closest to our needs.
The elevator was small, so we put our luggage in it and sent it to the floor without people. I think this is due to the building's old age.
Excelente location, safe and easy to walk. Lots of restaurants. Staff very good, always trying to help us.
Breakfast could be better, food wasn’t too hot. Small variety of food.
Very friendly staff!
Rooms are small! Main entryway involves a few stairs to the reception desk.
