The hotel's location is excellent. We walked a lot throughout our stay and, while we primarily used the bus and metro to get around to places further away such as the Vatican, we walked to many nearby sights. Our room was one of the larger rooms, which was good for a family stay; it had a rooftop balcony directly off the room which we enjoyed. Our room rate included breakfast. There were many options and the food was fine.

The location is very good, right next to a bus stop which is directly outside, also next to the Metro. Attractions are within walking distance. Reception were very friendly, enthusiastic, provided a colourful map with attractions we should visit. Breakfast options were decent for the price. For the budget price this hotel is well worth it. Highly recommend. Our TV had YouTube.

    Lift is very small.

The reception staff were extremely kind, helpful, and professional. Especially the gentleman who speaks Russian — he was outstanding, very attentive, and made our stay much more comfortable. The overall atmosphere of the hotel was warm and welcoming.

The only small thing was the scent of the shampoo and soap — it wasn’t really my taste, but it’s a very minor detail.

The food was delicious and the temperature was good. The staff were helpful. The environment was very clean.

From our arrival at 1000 after an 8 hr flight, 30 minute train to Termini and 10 minute walk to Hotel Barromeo, GiGi made us feel soooo welcome scurrying about to assist the 11am checkouts, arrange an early 1pm balcony room assignment and offering us delicious cappuccino in the salon as we relaxed waiting for our room. Had 2 fabulous nights in Monti exploring much of Roma. Victor had whisked our bags up to our room to await our arrival. Bought delicious wine to savor on the private balcony. Gigi and Victor made our stay feel personally attended to. We cannot wait to return!

    Didn't stay long enough

I like the staff, really nice and welcoming, recommend us for places and resturants near the hotelThe location is just perfect, we got to all places just by walking, the colosseum, trevi, termini etc.hotel and room very clean.breakfast is standart,

Family room turn to the street and very noisy also at night even when window was closed.also just one closet in family room is not enough

Good location very close to Termini station. Walking distance to major attractions, well-lit street at night. Pretty safe area to go around at all times of the day. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Would love to have more variety at breakfast but overall skipping getting breakfast outside is a major plus. A few great restaurants just down the street.

There are no major complaints. Overall good value for the money you spent on the hotel in a pretty centered location.

My friend and I stayed 6 nights in first half of November 2025. The 3rd floor terrace was excellent for eating, sunning and sitting. Room 303 was the best with its own private terrace. The breakfast buffet was constantly refreshed with hot and cold selections. The staff work hard and willing to help with any little thing. Lorenzo at reception was exceptionally helpful and Victor seemingly always available. Walking distance to the train station and a number of main attractions. The hop on and hop off buses are a great way to see major landmarks.

Would recommend having a water cooler to fill water bottles and coffee machine in lobby.

Great location, lovely terrace! Good value! Nice breakfast.

The property was well maintained, looked lovely and comfortable The staff was courteous and friendly and most importantly very welcoming.

The room was a little small/compact. There wasn’t enough ventilation in the room without the A/C which is turned off in Oct. They did bring a portable fan & I was able to open the window which allowed all the street noise/traffic to serenade us at night.

    10MoniquePosted on: 10-21-2025

Lorenzo was extremely helpful. Josephine made the best breakfast and orange juice.

The elevators was very small. Difficult to fit awheelchair.

Horrible. The bathroom smells like rotting sewage. Staff did not change the room even after multiple complaints. I guess all the bathrooms must be smelly. I had a super suffocating and most uncomfortable stay of my life in this hotel. The rotting smell is health concerning, super disappointing.

Close to great neighborhood and wonderful staff

AC would randomly turn off. Price was very high for such a small room

breakfast was amazing and great that we were allowed to have breakfast the day we arrived early before check in.Staff was super friendly!

It was more expensive to add a second day after we changed our reservation to 2 nights - would have been nice to get the same price we had for the first night on the second night.
