Pros +
- Location and classic feel to buildings and room. Our family suite was quite large and beautifully appointed.
- The location
- I?ve been to Rome and the location and Staff were GREAT!! The staff was extremely helpful from the moment I booked the hotel to the moment I arrived and checked out! As we stayed twice during the same trip we Loved the birds eating breakfast with us!!
Cons -
- Drink prices: ?10 for a Coke, ?20 for the simplest drink. Breakfast was supposed to be included, yet we were charged ~ ?40 each day.
- Too close to the Colosseum and Uber drivers couldn't access it. Domestic phone calls through the room phone were relatively expensive.
- we wish the breakfast began sooner than 7 am as many people could not enjoy this paid benefit due to having to leave for the airport early. A 6:30 am start would be nice.

Superb location right next to the Forum and the Colosseum. Beautiful interior with dark polished wood, comfy chairs and sofas. This is an 18th century building that is well looked after. Our room was gorgeous with a huge comfy bed, dual aspect views, well stocked mini bar and beautiful jacuzzi bath. The restaurant on the 5th floor has great views for breakfast and lovely heaters of an evening so even in winter it’s perfectly cozy. The staff were superb especially the restaurant staff who looked after me when I dined alone on my first night. The breakfast was a perfect continental buffet- some reviews have said it wasn’t a broad selection but they had pastries, cakes, cheese, yoghurt, cereal and cooked options so I’m not sure what more you could want! I will definitely come back here. Thank you for a lovely few days in Rome!
Our room was amazing
Great location and our windows overlooked the forum and we had four!!
Best location vibrate street many restaurants bars and close to attractions. Amazing rooftop bar with staff and amazing support when needed.
Rooms can get warm but staff are on tap to turn the heating down for you if needed!
Superb location and old world style. Walking distance to Colliseum and Roman Forum
Limited bar opening hours
excellent location and full of character - you really felt like you were staying in Rome not just any city ! Staff were friendly and helpful . We did not eat in the restaurant but the American bar was a good venue for drinks with great views
It would be good to have a coffee machine in the rooms or a coffee area near reception for guests not having breakfast .
Great location, nice atmosphere, clean and comfortable
Room wasn't very big but it was what I expected
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The bathroom was updated with a large shower. The location worked well.
The rooftop views were not thst great due to the angle and the covered roof. The drink were way overpriced.
The late hour of check-in wasnt a problem, when different hotel diddnt answer my calls.Ale the things went perfect.Even that i left a charger in the room the personel helowe me to get it back the same day.
The terrace overlooking the forum is magical. Breakfast everyday there, is a must. The breakfast team are such a lovely, fun and professional group of people. The cleaning staff did a great job all through the hotel.
The room felt tired and was dark but it was spacious and clean.

Good location
We chose this place for the advertised NYE dinner and entertainment. We came all the way from Australia and what a let down! NYE dinner cost 1200 Euro and was very disappointing. Most of it was not eatable. We noticed we were not the only ones sending dishes back! Most of the guests we spoke to were also highly disappointed. Breakfast was cold. The hotel’s response to our disappointment was very short, they did not care. Rooms were small, no tv and the shower was not hot enough.
was great closed to the colosseum and roma forumand not far from the other
Every staff person was absolutely wonderful. We arrived on Christmas Day and felt immediately welcomed and at home. The rooftop bar was a highlight. Breakfast was meh. Location is great. Have been to Rome many times, first time staying in this part of town … the views at Golden Hour made it worthwhile. I’d splurge on a room with a view next time.
The hotel was in a good location clean and quiet
