Pros +
- Location to train station and public transportation, as well as walking to great restaurants, shopping and historic sites. Staff are wonderful. Friendly, helpful, and well informed.
- Let me first say I was rebooked into the Hotel Independent, so I didn't stay at this Brittania place due to some pandemic restriction or something but at the place I did stay the room was huge and it had a huge bed. It was nice to have so much space.
- Good breakfast, quiet room, free phone use
Cons -
- My room was a bit small and for two of my nights there the residents in a neighboring room made it difficult for me to sleep. But the hotel staff made sure that they were moved guaranteeing me my last two nights of a peaceful environment.
- The WiFi in my particular room was so spotty it bordered on unusable a lot of the time. Supposedly I was the only one complaining but either way it was bad

Room was a little small
It was walking distance to all main attraction.
My mini fridge was not filled as it should have per the book in the room. Also when I arrived there was half eaten snacks in the mini fridge which now that I'm thinking about it it probably was never looked at after the prior guest left.
Close to train station and shopping/collesium, the concierges were extremely helpful and scheduled taxis for airport departure and very nice breakfast. We had the best room in the hotel and everything about it was relaxing and luxurious.
small elevator that cant be made bigger.
Close to two train stops and buses, same block as opera, helpful staff, clean
No A/C (only heat. to cool need to open a window), slightly small room.
Location Walking distance to tourist attraction
The hotel lobby is area is very very small and elevator is very very small and old which makes the access from check in desk to your room very awkward. The second checkin when we came back from Florence , they sent us to another hotel in the chain due to
Very friendly staff at the front desk
Not sure how this hotel is a 4 star hotel. The best word to describe iit is dated. The room was very dated as well as all other areas of the hotel. The breakfast was also a bit disappointing. Will not be recommending this hotel to others
Great location , fully equipped , staff great n helpful ,
Just shower taps were not great , old n need changed.
1. Hotel employee was awesome and went above and beyond with her guidance for getting to sites and she provided wonderful recommendations for restaurants. She was personable, engaging, warm, and provided gracious hospitality. 2. Breakfast was outstanding!
No--exceeded expectations!
Great breakfast.
The elevator is !VERY! small. The reception is at the lower level, so you have to lug your luggage down when check-in and lug them up when checking out.
The staff, free breakfast, mini bar in room is free for 1 time refills are charged. Walking distance to metro.
Best 4 Star I've stayed in anywhere. Better then a lot of the 5 Star I have stayed in for less money. Best part was the complimentary I phone we were given to use while we were in Roma with free international calling and GPS to help use find the Hotel
Good location, clean and great location.
The bed was hard and two singles together with no mattress topper, so uncomfortable for a couple. Room also small.
The best thing about the hotel was the free breakfast.
The customer service was terrible. We were given the wrong room and the check-in counter wouldn't allow us to change. The counter person kept talking over me and after 1.5 hours and a phone call with another manager, we finally got the room we booked.
Great location!
Small rooms, bathroom was almost bigger than the bedroom. Worked for a night but wouldnt want to stay longer
Superb staff at all levels. Great location access to restaurants and transportation.
European half-shower door culture is an adventure!
Friendly staff, nice room and decent sized shower.
Great experience. Spacious room and located close to the train station. 30-40 cab ride from International Airport. Concierge recommended great restaurants for us and took care of making the reservations. Would stay here again.
The location if the hotel was perfect for a Rome Tourist, close to everything. The hotel staff was very friendly and the breakfast was very good.
The rooms could have been a little cleaner. The elevator broke down during our stay, but wasn't repaired on time....
