    Cons -

    • There is only one small lift that fits 2 persons.
    • We had a room facing the street at it was very noisy.
    • One worker was very rude and ignorant didn’t get his name threw us out onto the street in the rain to wait on our Urber to the airport roaring and shouting at us Not sure if he was the manager he worked in the breakfast room in the morning also has dark hair - needs training on customer service For that reason I wouldn’t go back

Beautiful hotel in a great location with amazing friendly and helpful staff. A fantastic continental breakfast with such a great choice. Thoroughly recommended

    Everything was fabulous

Spacious room and bathroom. They prepared a bottle of champagne as a surprise for my wife's birthday. :-) We had to leave early in the morning, we could have breakfast half an hour before opening. Thank you!

Great hotel with an excellent central location, close to all the main sights. Clean and comfortable rooms, helpful staff, and a nice breakfast to start the day. Very good value for staying in Rome. Would recommend!

Location is vey good. Most of the tourist spot places is walkable. There is bus going to termini and going to Vatican City. Taxi stand or bus stop across the street in front of the hotel

They provide electric kettle but only tea and sugar provided no coffee sachet or creamer/ milk

Fabulous room, everything was lovely and clean. Great location for all attractions. Breakfast was great and plenty of it.The staff were wonderful, friendly and really helpful.

Nothing. I could't find any faults.

Great price point for location (10min walk to Trevi Fountain) very clean and friendly staff.

The room was small, however we knew this before booking and we were only staying 1 night so it was perfect for our needs.

    8DanielPosted on: 1-19-2026

The staff were very welcoming and ready to answer any questions we had during our stay. The breakfast was fine, nothing special but good enough to get you started for the day.

The only drawback to this hotel in my opinion is the location relative to all the sights. If you're ok with walking then this is a good spot for you relative to the room rate. Otherwise I would advise getting familiar with the bus system to get around Rome from here.

The location was great and coffee machine at breakfast was great.

Our towels had holes in them and the soap in the bathroom was for hands and hair. No conditioner or lotion. Breakfast croissants were just ok.

Everything was clean. The breakfast was good. Good beds.

Booking.com did not send a confirmation when I booked the room in February. In August I found no information telling me I had booked, so I booked the room. At arriving at the hotel, they had two bookings for me. Booking.com said they couldn’t do anything about the extra booking, and the hotel, though they had extra rooms and the extra booking did not block any customers would do nothing to reimburse for the extra room. I will never use booking.com again. Very disappointed.

Room was spacious, and hotel was in a good location.

The breakfast room would get full, so you'd have to wait to be seated. Not great if you're in a rush.

Giolli Nazzionale Hotel Very clean hotel and the receptionist was extremely friendly and helpful. My only suggestion is to include coffee in the room, as there was only tea available.

The hotel was a short walk from termini station however walking to the hotel late at night from the station was rough, there was a extreme amount of homelessness and we were approached by a lot of drug addicts and we did not feel safe at all

The room was exceptionally hot, air conditioning didn’t work and we couldn’t open our window or blinds as there was creepy builders who work for the same hotel doing up the other side who were perving into our window. Complained about it but nothing was done and couldn’t use any day light to do my make up because they were leering out the windows. Horrendous. Not my first time in Rome but I would not stay here again. Especially because no one took my complaint seriously. If you’re women travelling alone, please take this into account before looking to stay here, I would have felt so unsafe without my fiancé.

    Location

We had a fantastic two days stay. the location was absolutely perfect. However, one disappointing moment stood out. During breakfast, one of the hotel staff members behaved quite unprofessionally. I was the only English speaker in our group; the others didn’t speak English or Italian. As we approached the breakfast area, they waited for me to give our room number, which I did.Despite this, a staff member began shouting at them in Italian, demanding the room number. I calmly explained that I was with them and provided the number(as they don’t understand what the staff was saying- how can they understand) but she didn’t acknowledge me. Her attitude remained cold and dismissive, and she continued to glare at my friends in a way that made them all uncomfortable. When I politely asked, “Excuse me, is there a problem?” she ignored me completely. It was an unpleasant experience that cast a shadow over an otherwise lovely stay. Unfortunately, we couldn’t enjoy our breakfast after that.

Clean and good location. Nice bathroom with great shower. Comfortable beds. Windows can open for fresh air.

No food or beverages available on site.

Location of hotel was very strategic. Walking distance to many of the main attractions. Good buffet breakfast.

The rooms are not soundproof, can hear almost everything from the rooms next door.

Close to bus stops so it was convenient to go around the city. Nice local shops for shopping and great restaurants around the area. The area felt safe and not too touristy. Famous tourist spots are a 10-15 minute walk away. Hotel itself is old but one section seems newly renovated. Most of our rooms were clean and spacious enough although one of our rooms in another section of the hotel felt old and was smelly. Elevator was small but still convenient if you have large luggage. Staff was friendly.

One of the rooms smelled like cigarettes even though we were supposed to be in a non smoking floor.
