Pros +
- Super friendly staff, great restaurants across the street, clean and comfortable.
- Great location, extremely helpful staff.
- Location, staff, breakfast.
Cons -
- The showers dont close 100% so water gets all over the floor, that is the only downside to the hotel (but i noticed the same all over europe).
- The mattresses on the beds were thin, hard, and uncomfortable. One was concave and we asked the housekeeper to flip it. That made it better, but thicker newer mattresses would have improved the stay.
- 2 out of the 3 receptionists were rude old mans without will to help or assist and little to no patience at all with the language difference

Location, staff, breakfast.
It was very close to the Colosseum and some of the touristic places in the city. The breakfast was basic but good enough and you could take as much as you wanted.

This was an excellent hotel in a fantastic location. It was close to Termini, making it accessible from the airport and a great starting place to explore the rest of the city. The side street the hotel was on was quiet and the area felt safe as a solo female. Lots of cafes and restaurants nearby as well. The room was simple, clean, and comfortable and the staff were fantastic. Wifi signal was good. Breakfast (07:00-10:30) had a good selection with yogurt, cereal, meat, cheese, pastries, crackers, fruit salad, juice, milk, and coffee. I was able to eat a big breakfast and then have a lighter lunch later.
Location was super great. Staff very friendly.
It’s old - we expected it to be old etc but it can still be old with nice furniture for example - not in this case this is old all the way ie everything. Sad breakfast - saw it skipped it but it’s there.
The hotel is close to the center, 14 mins walk to Collosseum and arround 40 mins to Fontain de Trevi. All other famous places are also nearby. The location is surrounded by nice restaurants and cheap souvenir shops. Also, the main train/bus/metro station is 10 mins walk.Exellent guy Muamer Aziz who works at the reception, was very kind and helpful!Daily room cleaning-service good.
Hotel is quite old...poor breakfast..not so clean dining room...
Location and very friendly staff
Very small tv (complaint only by my 11 year old who is addicted to tv)
Very good area. Loads of shops and restaurants nearby. Especially on the alley into the restaurant, a few lush restaurants before it. Staff were really nice and accommodating.
Just needs a small bit of updating. Like the bed sheets.
We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Tirreno. It's not a luxury hotel, but all the essentials were met. The room was clean, and quiet. We had a nice view of the garden. It was great to be able to control the thermostat ourselves, and there was plenty of warm water when taking a shower. We loved having breakfast onsite. It was not an extravagant breakfast, but the staff made sure the breakfast table had a variety and was fully stocked. It's was really great to be able to eat something onsite before starting our busy days. Above all, the location was perfect. We mostly walked from the hotel to our destinations, but the metro is also nearby and it was easy to hail a cab near the hotel. I will certainly stay here again. Thank you Hotel Tirreno for the warm welcoming hospitality.
I'm looking forward to the day when the bar opens again.
Staff were excellent, and helped with food recommendations. The beds were nice and springy. Minifridge was nice.
Single room was a little small. Windows were shuttered, though there was still wind coming in. Shower drainage was a little lacking.
Quite, convenient location from the station, 10 minutes walk. Most of the main attractions of Rome are within walking distance. Friendly staff. Good, but monotonous, breakfasts. In rainy weather, when going out into the city you can take a free umbrella.
For this price I do not see any minuses, except for monotonous breakfasts.
The thoroughly Italian character of the hotel. It had a unique quality - not just a branch of corporate hospitality. The staff were friendly and really helpful.
Nothing!
The location is excellent, although the building is old, it's maintenance and cleanness were making our stay extra satisfying. Very favourable neighborhood, many cafes and restaurants, superb lokal life experience, pleasant walking distance from everything. The highlight of the stay: the staff!! Extraordinary kind, welcoming and helpful staff, going out of their way to meet any of the guests needs.
The breakfast is a correct one and fitting into the definition of the continental breakfast. Nevertheless, the offer might be wider, like adding the scrambled eggs or an omelette on the menu.
The location.
The single rooms are not rooms at all, they’re closets. In general, the staff is nice, but there was a woman in the breakfast room extremely rude and I think racist.
Location 10min walk from Termini Station.Very basic hotel I was shocked to see how dated it was but once you accept that it's a good base for seeing the tourist attractions.
Interior in halls carpets need to be updated. Curtains and bedding in rooms from the 70s.Hotel reception basic communication no plesentries. The hotel is based on a side street that seemed to be used a lot and the noise at night woke us up a few times
The location is good, everything is really close and the street is not as busy as in other part of the city.Everything was clean and comfortable we asked for daily cleaning and they made a perfect job!
The breakfast doesnt worth it, there was a wide selection of things but all cheap and tasteless.
Vert quiet room in the centre of Rome. Staff are old school and charming
Breakfast was poor
Good quiet location. Nice breakfast.
High price for what I got. My single room was very small.
Everyone was so friendly and eager to help, the suggested options for sightseeing and dinner were great ?They even arranged our transportation to the airport at an afordable Price.
