It is very "Roman" and grand with beautiful grounds. The pools and spa are also very nice. Very nice amenities.

Location - it is kind of far from everything, this wouldn't be bad if the staff was more helpful with restaurants, etc... in the local area. Everything at the hotel is VERY expensive. 16 Euros for coffee every day. Its like a hostage situation.

    8Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 12-23-2016

A very grand, prestigious hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

It is a little bit out of the way from the city center. The hotel does provide free shuttles so it was not super bad. The food in the L'Uliveto restaurant was expensive and below average.

The most elegant hotel I have ever stayed in. Comfortable bed and pillows. They serve the best hot chocolate in the world.

Not close to the city center. Cost about 25 Euro's for a cab ride. Close to the Vatican.

Atmosphere was amazing.Rome Cavalieri is an all around fantastic hotel with its own sights to see. The rooms were huge with a balcony overlooking Rome. They have a huge superb breakfast buffet every morning. Andy the two pools was just another plus for me

    Nope it was perfect

    10RichardPosted on: 10-23-2016

The staff was exceptional! From the front desk to the concierge to the restaurant everyone was great! For a fifty year old hotel it was immaculately clean and maintained. It is a classic Italian beauty!

    10Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 7-29-2016

The hotel is beautiful. We were given an upgrade to a corner suite and it was magnificent. After touring all day, we could relax on our double balconies and enjoy the spectacular view of Rome. Comfy bed and spacious bathroom/living areas. Wonderful

It is away from everything, but for us a plus not a minus. Shuttle service available or taxi will be needed. Prices are expensive, 9 euro for a coffee, 18 euro to lounge at pool, 35 euro continental breakfast or you have go to town.

    5Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 10-19-2015

We happened to ask a question from a passing by hotel staff member: He treated us with respect, kindness and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome including giving us a private tour of the suites that very few people get to enter.

Other staff members took one look at our "level status/room number" and were very unhelpful and unfriendly. The air conditioning in our room was super loud, spa ladies were unaccommodating. The room service food was outrageously priced and low quality.

    Beautiful room and grounds.

Housecleaning did not do a thorough job cleaning room. My sister and I were leaving hotel w our luggage and employee at the door did not help us w the door.

Beautiful Hotel inside. My actual room was awesome!

    No coffee in our room?????

    10Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 5-1-2015

Loved the room, beautiful balcony, free upgrade to garden view with amazing views of Rome from the hilltop

Shuttle completely missed 7pm pickup time, so we were standing there for more than an hour waiting for it, very unreliable, was late multiple times due to traffic. Location is not close to city center at all, you need a taxi or shuttle to go anywhere.

    8JosephPosted on: 4-5-2015

The hotel was very nice. The staff was absolutely on top of everything. Almost annoying at times. Many staff members speak English.

Location was a little remote. The food prices and drink prices were very very expensive.
