Location and staff were top-notch!

You have to give your key back to the concierge each time you leave. The key is an old-school key, so this makes sense. But if you return and someone is speaking with the concierge, you do have to wait to get your key back.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. I had a problem with the booking operator and the staff went above and beyond to help me with my issue. The room was extremely clean and the bed was massive.

The hotel was in an excellent location, just far enough away from the bustle to be quiet but a short walk to the metro, Spanish Steps and other areas.

Best stay in Rome - have stayed in Rome 6 times at luxury hotels - would definitely go back to La Residenza - we had a great room with a balcony. Breakfasts were amazing! Staff was friendly and informative. Restaurant was great! Great location!

Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful! Breakfast was a winner with a lot of choice... House keeping was excellent.. would stay here again!

Good location, very central, also the area is quiet and safe. Nice people working at the hotel.

Very uncomfortable bed and pillows. They are really bad. I travel a lot and stay at different hotels, but i’ve never had such problems as waking up with back pain. It happens when the mattress and pillows aren’t suitable for sleeping. Bathrobe and slippers only on request, would be better to have them in room at check in, not the next day.

Staying at La Residenza was like being a graciously welcomed guest at a charming 19th century mansion with all of today's conveniences. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Really, everything about the hotel exceeded our expectations.

The location is perfect. The area is safe and is walking distance to the Trevi fountain, Spanish steps and Pantheon. The hotel rooms are big in size. The staff are absolutely friendly and helpful.The breakfast is not a full english breakfast however they do serve bacon and eggs as a hot dish. There is a wide variety of breads and pastries. There were cereals for those who want a light breakfast. It was definitely a 4 star experience.

I didn't like leaving.

The breakfast was excellent as was the breakfast staff. We also loved the restaurant at the hotel. All in all, we loved everything about our stay at this hotel.

The rooms were spacious and especially the bathrooms ! They were well appointed and very big king size beds and comfortable . It was within walking distance of many of the main sites one would want to visit in Rome and the staff were nice .

The breakfast lady was the kindest person in the whole hotel. The restaurant in the hotel was very nice. The food was delicious.

The room smelled like an old dirty sock, musty and stale. The room was very clean but it wasn't what I paid for, I wanted a room with a balcony! It was a dark room as well.The shorter front desk clerk (man) was a misogynistic jerk, he was very rude. He really wasn't very friendly at all.

Great breakfast. Could walk to most sights.
