    Pros +

    • Only the room cleanliness
    • The room was clean and comfortable and had a very nice shower. Breakfast was included. The staff was friendly. Free Wi-Fi.
    • Food is open late in that area and once you understand how to use the local bus and train commute is simple

    Cons -

    • Only the breakfast staff (2 ladies) were courteous, all the other desk clerks were very impolite. It seems the hotel has invested some money in updating rooms, but that does not help if the desk clerks are not welcoming and courteous¿ at least smiley
    • Since my room was on the second floor and the breakfast room was in the basement, I missed having an elevator.
    • Bathroom was not the best it is a tolet shower in 1 plastic curtain divides it

Friendly and good-natured staff, I especially want to express my gratitude to the girl from the reception, Nicole. She checked us in ahead of schedule and congratulated us on our birthday, which was very nice :) Good location, close to supermarkets and cafes.

It’s a pity that they only have microwaves in the kitchen, which only open for a couple of hours in the morning.

    Well located, private, friendly staff.

    Bad breakfast options

Very good localization and metro being nearby is a huge plus. Hotel staff is always helpful and polite.

    No vegetables at breakfasts

The staff at the reception was reallt friendly and the room was clean. Walking distance from Piramide metro and stazione Ostiense.

There is no elevator and I was not able to open my curtains, as there were houses/windows right across the narrow street. Breakfast was in a windowless basement and nothing to write home about. Overall, value for money was poor. Would be ok for a budget stay but not for the amount of money I paid per night (which seems to be more of a Rome problem though, than of this individual hotel).

    large beautiful rooms, friendly staff

No lift. No vegetables and fruits on the breakfast

Cleanliness - kudos to the housekeeping team. If not for this the hotel would score really bad. Spic and span maintenance of the room and bathroom. Changed towels all days of my stay. The staff helped me book a taxi early in the morning. Well connected location. There are 3 receptionists who come in shifts throughout the day. There is a female receptionist who is friendly, a middle-aged male receptionist who is also very friendly, helpful and humble. Breakfast area is very small but the breakfast was ready on time and a good variety of items served.

There are no lifts. I had to carry my heavyweight luggage all the way to the 2nd floor and bring them down. There is one young male receptionist who is very rude, literally no smile, but is helpful. There is not enough ventilation in the bathroom. I used my Dolce and Gabbana perfume to get rid of the damp smell. No complimentary toiletries. If you forget these you have to get them from the nearby supermarket.

The staff were lovely and accommodating, value for money was great and whilst the location does require a walk, bus or train into central Rome there are great transport links. Room is no frills, but it was clean, good AC and housekeeping came every day. Good local shops & food options if you don't want to travel far, but we mostly used this for coffees in the morning or a lunchtime gelato.

The lady who runs breakfast is really lovely, and the pastries are great, but a few more options with both food and drink options would make it great for something to keep you going until lunch. There's no lift, which as a young couple with backpacks only was fine, but be wary if you've got large luggage or are less physically capable for whatever reason.

    The location near good restaurants.

Extra taxes and costs with not even a bottle of drinking water provided by the hotel in the room. Coffee at breakfast was an awful automatic machine with paper cups!

    8KarolPosted on: 9-6-2023

The room is spacious, air conditioning worked good, apartament was clean, breakfast was surprisingly tasty.

There was problem with getting iron from reception, the neighbourhood doesnt look safety.

    8NteboPosted on: 9-4-2023

Nicole was friendly and the staff was great. Shops around the corner.

Curtains were not clean, you could smell the dust.

    8BrunaPosted on: 8-30-2023

Breakfast was good with yogurt and cereals, variety of croissants and great coffee. I stayed here 2 times, both rooms were big but the one on the third floor had mold due to possible water leakage form the ceiling. The one on the first floor did not have issues. Both times we got a room with either a balcony or a terrace which was great. Air conditiong was good and the stafff was friendly.

Mold on the ceiling on the first room. Not an issue but should be taken in account that the hotel has no elevator, so it's quite a lot of stairs with luggage if you're on a higher floor.

    10SaraPosted on: 8-20-2023

Very polite workers. The room was soo clean and the shower in room had strong pressure. There was also hairdryer.

The only thing that I didn't like is pillow. It was too big and too tick for my taste.

Very clean , very nice people , well equipped, good price quality relation

We loved staying at The Hotel Pyramid, as it was so central, at a good price. Large room, comfortable bed, very clean. Great value for money.

    Wifi wasn’t that great

    The location was good.

Staff was not so kind, wall was not soundprofing, bathroom was to small (attached). Some group arrive at hotel and they were so loud. House rules and quete is from 00:00 until 07:00.

    6TeddiePosted on: 7-16-2023

You have A/C in the room, you are 5 minutes away from public transport, the breakfast area is always stocked, the bathroom is nice and tidy, you get fresh towels every day

The walls are very thin. I was staying during a period where apparently a german and french college or school was staying, so it was quite loud during the mornings and evenings. The bed was not comfortable. You lie straight onto the bed springs, and I actually got a sore hip from laying on my side one night.
