- Location is the only reason to pick this hotel. The staff is excellent including the breakfast girls.
- Location
- Amazing location. A five minute walk from the metro and the Spanish Steps. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We were able to leave our suit case there for a 3 days while we went to Sorrento. Would recommend this hotel!
Cons -
- The entrance is deceiving when you view the pictures. The rooms are way too small. We were given the second floor room which was not renovated and they did change us to a better room.
- Breakfast terrible, juices were powder with water, bread stale, no fruit
- I think the service can best be summed up by asking for a taxi. To which the guy at the desk said of course (after all this is the least you could expect from a 3 star hotel). After ten minutes waiting, he looked up and said simply: no.

The staff was very helpful and it's literally 2 blocks from the Piazza di Spagna.
The rooms are super tiny and noisy. Everything is shabby and out of date. The bedding was dirty on arrival, the bed was completely sunk in the middle. The breakfast is GROSS protein wise the pastry is ok. I asked for no one to enter my room (do not dist
Convenient and comfy! Awesome breakfast! Small but cozy room, but every amenity I could want, great staff, marble tiled bath with bidet, comfy bed, great linens. Superb location 5 minute walk from the Spanish Steps as well as the adjacent Spagna metro.
Nada
good clean hotel,I would stay there again. The room is nice but a little small, shower is very small, the location is great. If you arrive by car,no free parking it cost 18.00 Euro each night you stay. No parking allowed in front of hotel.Staff is friendly.
Small Shower stall, electrical outlets has only 2. Parking too far away parking cost is too high.Random Street parking is hard to find, (travel without car is easier).
The location is absolutely amazing! We had two rooms, mine was renovated and was very small but lovely. The bathrooms were very nice with great water pressure. My daughters room was not renovated and it was honestly very dated and a bit musty smelling and they ended up showering in ours. When booking again, I’d ask for a larger renovated room unless you’re traveling light ?. The staff were very kind and attentive!
If I had to be picky, It was quite loud as renovations were happening in the room next to us, so we were woken (with jet lag!) at 730 to drilling and banging on the wall. I’m assuming moving forward that won’t be an issue.
Location is excellent , close to all shops , restaurants and historical places .. the staff very friendly , warm ambiance in the hotel , very cozy
Housekeeping were super loud from early morning and lack of consideration towards guests comfort .Heater wasn’t strong in the room so it wasn’t warm enough. Weird smell was coming from the bathroom .
Amazing, we loved everything about it. Great location, staff was amazing. They went above and beyond, staff made us a breakfast bag as we check out at 6am
We loved the staff and there availability to our needs.
We loved the location and the cleanliness
My sister and I loved our stay at the Hotel Forte. It's in an excellent location, within walking distance of the tourist attractions, and it's also super close to Spanish steps and also the metro station if you don't want to walk to the tourist sites.Good size room for two people, without noise, bed and shower was wonderful. Good breakfast. Marcus at the reception was very kind and helped us with all the information we needed. Congratulations to the entire hotel staff very nice and friendly. We definitely we want to return and stay in the same hotel. Everything was perfect ?
I like everything
The staff was delightful. The rooms were clean but a bit tight but staff helped us make it work. Great location.
Size of room.
Location, and very supportive staff
Clean, very cozy, location
The only nice thing I can say about our stay here is when our shower wouldn’t work on the second day they gave us a second room to use the bathroom.
I forgot to put the do not disturb sign on my door as I don’t like letting strangers around my personal belonging. They cleaned our room and an expensive makeup brush of mine was missing. When I politely said something all I was returned with was “the cleaner must have thrown it away.” That’s it. And the room we stayed in you could clearly see mold and mildew line the entire shower. I would never stay here again.
Location! It’s on one of my favorite streets in the historic center. Via Marguta
The bathroom, fixtures were broken and the head rest had stains. It’s a simple fix yet not given attention. As a guest, let alone a paying guest, it wasn’t welcoming.
It is an amazing Cousy hotel with an extremely excellent location . Just a couple of minutes of walking to the Spanish steps and via del courso. Very friendly staff that helped us with a smile during our stay there. Im definitely going back to this hotel . Everything was perfect
Location cannot be beat. This hotel is so close to the metro and other Rome attractions.
Construction/remodeling of rooms makes it very noisy for guests.
Friendly staff, made us feel comfortable and helped us on the taxi to the airport also before I even ask! Great experience
Nothing against them in particular, but the sewage smell that comes from the bathroom is pretty bad! It’s a city sewage problem I believe and it comes up the shower drainage! For a newly renovated room (very nice and modern!) it’s a shame! But the sewage problem on the whole city is a problem at some periods of the day and specially night!
Pkeasant we would have oreferred beibg allocated a modern and new room.
Our room was old fashioned and very dated and there were other upgraded and modern . We were supposed to get an upgrade as we paid cash but we were still allocated an old room.
