Great place to stay directly across the street from the Termini Train station. Clean and comfortable. Perfect for one night.
Great location within walking distance of tourist attractions or via metro at Termini station which is just across the road from hotel with numerous shops and eateries and location of airport transfer coaches, check in was quick and reception staff were friendly and helpful, superior room was large, comfortable and regularly cleaned and made up, if you are looking for a room with a view this might not be for you but everything else more than compensates.(breakfast mainly continental type but plenty of choice).
Courtyard view.
Right in front of the Rome Terminal for train and bus. 35/40 min walk to a lot of the amusement sites.Reception Staff very helpful
Water kept going warm and cold all the time, literally boiling hot and then freezing cold.Breakfast was very average, there was a young kitchen staff guy with glasses and another youngish guy with glasses took a long time to replace things that had ran out (this was at 7 A.M, not at 10 A.M as I could understand at that time it could maybe due to near closing time), and also had some kind of altercation with some client and it seemed they were saying whatever in Italian and laughing as nobody would understand. And the coffee was very poor considering you are in Italy, also the milk is only cold???
The stuff was very good and location was also good
Room was always clean but there was smell in room when the cleaner coming to clean it better he opens windows and come fresh air thanks
The location.
I selected a small standard room and received a very small room, but the biggest problem is the bed — it is actually a single bed, even though we are two people. On Booking it was listed as a standard double room with a standard double bed. The hotel urgently needs renovation. It looks bad.
The hotel is in a prime area. All major attractions are nearby and easily walkable. The main train station and metro station are right in front of the hotel, which makes commuting extremely convenient. The only good thing about this hotel is its location. Major attractions are within walking distance, and both the main train station and metro station are directly in front of the hotel. Very convenient for travel. All major attractions are walkable, and the main train and metro station are right in front of the hotel. Location 10/10.
Dear Management,I am writing to formally complain about my recent stay at your hotel, which was extremely disappointing and far below acceptable standards.I was allocated Room 528, located at the far corner of the hotel. Reaching the room required navigating a confusing zig-zag layout, which was inconvenient and uncomfortable.Room Issues:The room was extremely small, making it difficult to move around properly. There was no adequate space to place my large suitcase. The television was mounted on the side wall, making it very uncomfortable to watch, and it was also unable to connect with multimedia.Additionally, the room air-conditioning was not working. I reported this issue to the staff and requested that it be fixed. However, when I returned to my room, I found that a table fan had been placed instead of properly repairing the air-conditioning. As a result, I had to stay in the room without air-conditioning and sleep with the window open at night for ventilation, which was highly inconvenient and unacceptable. The room also had a strong and unpleasant smell coming from the toilet, especially in the early morning. Waking up to such a foul odor was very disturbing and negatively affected the start of my day.Bathroom & Shower:The toilet area was very large but not clean and had a persistent bad smell. The separate shower cabin was extremely small, making it impossible to move freely or even raise my hands comfortably while showering.Breakfast:Breakfast was not up to the mark, with very limited options and nothing noteworthy provided.Staff BehaviourThe staff were rude and unprofessional. When I requested a room change due to the issues mentioned above, I was informed that I had been given the same category room and that changing rooms would require an additional payment of 150 Euros. I found this unreasonable given the circumstances and the condition of the room.
Superb
We were concerned that front of house staff were not supervising the collection of the left luggage. We were sitting in foyer waiting for our room and people just walked in on their own and collected luggage. No proof was required and no checking . Anyone could have taken anything.
Location is perfect. Right in front of Roma Termini.
When I was looking for a hotel in Rome, this hotel came up on top of the list for modern hotel. So I immediately booked without even looking for the reviews. I just looked at the pictures of the rooms on their website and then booked right away. Honestly the room was completely different from the one they put on there website. Fridge not working Bed too small Room was suffocating Air conditioned not working Foul smell going through the window. So disappointing really.
Good locationComfortableGood for valueEasy staff
Had a wonderful stay with the Madison Hotel, Rome. Located across from Stazione Roma Termini, the Madison Hotel is an ideal base to explore the Eternal City. The staff on reception were friendly and helpful, with great recommendations for restaurants and excursions. Lots of lovely little touches throughout the stay. My room was up on the 6th floor, clean, spacious, with a working fridge. I felt safe there as a solo traveller. Breakfast was nice, I found non gluten options, lots of nice options if you weren't as restricted.Overall, I had a great stay.
The location is amazing very close to termini, friendly stuff, clean room
On double bed we had a 2 small mattresses
Very close to Roma termini. Staff was excellent very polite, very helpful.
The bathtub seemed clogged and kinda smelly. The building is old undergoing renovations, the corridors are long and narrow like a maze. The elevators take too long. Two beds smacked together, one tight, one loose.
Poor
The breakfast was overpriced and what we received in the morning was cold and stale food. The most uncomfortable part of the stay was the toilet that did not have any ventilation and the ceiling was full of mould. Was very unsafe to be spending 3 nights with that mold in the toilet.
Passable
I booked another room and was put in another room. When I asked them to change rooms, they said they weren't sure they could give me a better room.
Room was very comfortable and clean. Easy to find and reception was great.
We didn’t get the exactly same room as we chose. We choose a queen bed and got a duble twin but everything worked well
Very close to roma termini,it’s a good location
There was no hot water in any of the rooms we couldn’t take a shower because it was too cold. We told the staff and no one cared they only said that the water is broken and that’s it
Location
Our room was very small, shower was extremely tight and no shampoo/conditioner/body wash.
