    • The staff was so friendly and helpful. Truly genuine people that cared about our experience.
    • Rooms were clean and comfy, the staff was friendly and upgraded me to a top floor with balcony. The room wasn't too big, but it was good for a solo traveler like me. It is near some very cool landmarks, and a train station is around 5-10 min walk. It was a bit difficult to find it at first, since you have to get buzzed inside, but they said all the buttons for the coms belonged to the hotel anyway. There are some nice restaurants nearby. It was a good stay!
    • Confortable, great location, nice staff and I feel in home everytime I arrive to Hotel Garda

    Cons -

    • Staff, location, clean, safe environment. It was simple but, it had everything you needed and central to tours, restaurant next door (tiempo something) cafe’s, convenience stores, and gelato. Easy walk from train station too!
    • There is one market very near to the hotel, but it closes at 10. After 10, I couldn't find any markets around. Good thing the rooms have a minibar.

The location was superb and near the center of Rome. The hotel was small but clean and cozy. The room was very clean. I hope they would serve breakfast next time as part of the room stay.

    Location only

Tiny old rooms. Shocking water pressure.Paper thin walls- you can hear conversation and TV from next door room as if they were in bed with you.No tissue paper in room!Paper cups! Not allowed to use air conditioning in Winter. Room was overheated by heating and advised to open window to cool it down but that brought in street noise.

The building was a bit out dated from the entrance to the reception. The lift was a bit old fashioned. But the rooms were comfortable for a 2 night stay. Had the basics to have comfortable stay. The staff were very welcoming. We used uber to get around, could have walked but after 20 days in italy, we were all walked out..

Cleanness! and the location was close to everything it needed

There wasn't a king bed , It was two pushing single beds together ! There wasn't tissue in the room , and sleepers...

Location was ten minutes walk from Spagna, at a good price. room had a hot clean ensuite shower and bathroom with bidet and toilet.Very well lit and clean, with excellent lighting in the room. room was also well heated and hot. perfect for a basic one night stay. everything was clean and easy.reception spoke English and is 24 hours. super helpful and polite. room.had a mini fridge but I didn't use it. WiFi was excellent

externally it was hard to find. it's one of the roman apartment buildings with lots of push buttons, then you enter a long lobby, with scalas - locate scala B with more push buttons then go through another door to a lift that looks like a cage and no signage. go to floor 4 then you reach a floor that is entirely converted to a modern American style hotel! they hand you a heavy key chain and you go to your room . locks are a bit dodgy , they don't lock from.the inside. the outer lock sometimes doesn't work to open the room or is very stiff. in the room is a bed with thin bed cover.(no duvet) . more covers in the wardrobe. no tea /coffee/cups since theres a note saying the power to the room can't handle it. shower was very small and barely fit me in it. it was overall OK. bed was hard and cold with the thin sheet but with the extra sheets it was ok

⭐ Perfect Stay! 10 Stars! The location of Hotel Garda is phenomenal—right where you need to be! The cleanliness was impeccable, and every corner felt spotless. What truly sets this hotel apart is the staff; they were incredibly warm, professional, and went above and beyond. Truly exceptional service and a wonderful overall experience. Highly recommend! The hotel is extremely close to the Spanish Steps; I walked everywhere and didn't need public transportation. It's also very near the metro station! If I come back, I will definitely stay here again. All the staff were incredibly kind and friendly. I send my special best wishes to Claudio.

I was extremely satisfied with my stay! The hotel is in a perfect location — right next to Villa Borghese, in a quiet and beautiful neighborhood, yet still in the heart of Rome. Considering the location, the price is very affordable, especially since the space feels luxurious and well-maintained. The rooms were cleaned every day and fresh towels were provided regularly. I would definitely stay here again!

Excellent location! Special thanks to Pavia and Joy at reception for their kindness and professionalism

    10MihailoPosted on: 11-9-2025

The staff was very kind and helpful. The room was well equiped and clean. There was daily cleaning service. The bathroom was also in great condition. The location of the hotel is amazing, being right next to Borghese park and like a 5-10 minutes walk away from the center.

The sound isolation could be a little bit better.

    Clean and very well located

I stayed at Hotel Garda last weekend and was told there was no lift, so I had to carry my 20 kg luggage up a tight spiral staircase by myself. I injured my back because of this. When I checked out, another staff member told me there is a service elevator I could have used. I asked three times before, and they still said no. This is unacceptable and shows a complete lack of care for guests.

Location of the hotel was good close to the centre. Staff were kind and helpful.

Finding hotel was a bit tricky. Overall hotel quality wasn't very good. Some rooms were not clean, and others were passable. There was a bit of cigarette smell in the rooms, but that might be as neighbouring rooms were smoking. Hotel either needs improvement or reduction of prices.

It was a secure central location & had a good Shower & lovely balcony.

it was meant to be a twin room, but a very small double. 1 chair 1 glass. it had a balcony but night club across the street so very noisy & it needed a good clean & walls marked
