- cozy and nice boutique hotel, good size of the room, great location for us, breakfast not so rich
- The hotel is nice, room was big, clean and beds were comfortable. Breakfast was very good with variety of nice items. Overall was a good stay.
- Everything! Excellent hotel! Hotel desk staff were not as friendly this trip. Servers and everyone else were fantastic! We’ve stayed at this same hotel two other times. Front desk staff were very friendly then. Staff was accommodating, but never smiled or said hello or good bye, etc.
Cons -
- AC was not on unfortunately, weather is still warm in Rome, however the central AC was turned off last week as per the staff since we are already in autumn. That made the stay not very comfortable honestly as the room was too warm.
- Front desk staff not as friendly as previous stays at River Chateau.
- Staff a bit aloof

Front desk staff not as friendly as previous stays at River Chateau.
Alessio and the staff were amazing. Very helpful even though we didn’t speak any Italian. They gave recommendations and got us affordable cabs.
Well situated near Stadio Olimpico. Quiet night of sleep, close to other amenities
Staff a bit aloof
We loved this hotel, the staff were so attentive, the room was comfortable and it was lovely to have the balcony to relax with a glass of wine in the evenings.
Everything from excellent friendly staff, good food and very clean
Could maybe have had more for the breakfast choice and the breakfast we did like you had to pay for
The staff was very nice and accommodating. Christian and the rest of the back of the house staff treated us like family. They are always trying to anticipate any additional needs we may have. Breakfast was a bonus since it was included. It was very similar to other hotels we stayed at in Europe. Quite frankly, if not for the excellent service of the staff, I would have rated the hotel much lower.
I had to deduct points for the air-conditioning. NON-EXISTENT. It got super hot in our room and there was no relief from the heat. Coming from the United States, we're accustomed to having individual room air-conditioners even in the lowest tier of hotels. Oh by the way, they should consider changing the mattresses also. Very flat and hard. It's not like this was a super cheap hotel. After staying at the Pillows in Brussels and NIU in Amsterdam, I know that hotel facilities in Europe can be better.
Clean Bathroom
No Tea making facilities in the room, Some staff not very helpful, a lot of broken equipment in room, air conditioning, light switch, bathroom fan not working properly, tiny rooms, bar rarely open, accused of using alcohol from mini bar ( none taken )
Convenience to Stadio Olympico
Road noise and rooms too hot
Our go too hotel when visiting Rome. Out of the City in a local's area near Ponte Milvio with its many restaurants and bars. Hotel is clear, welcoming and cosy. The bigger rooms are very impressive, the standard rooms are small but cosy. Pleasant small bar area and breakfast is good

The location was good to get to the rugby stadium
I questioned being charged for items when the room I paid for had breakfast included. I was shouted at by the lady behind the check out desk and made to feel as though I was something stuck to her shoe. Incredibly poor customer service.
Great spacious room! The parking was great and so was all of the staff. The room was fantastic with even a little balcony area. We also really enjoyed the area which is full of great restaurants within walking distance.
A classic Roman hotel with all the modern conveniences. Well appointed and meticulously cared for. Near the Ponte Milvio bridge and the Tiber River…it is a bit of a distance from Roma centro and the Vatican but easily accessible. Breakfast is very good and the have an underground parking garage.
Well located, clean, polite staff.
TV not working in the room, eggs at breakfast for extra charge.
spacious room, great shower, helpful staff and lots of amenities nearby.
Air conditioning didn't seem to work.
Breakfast was fine if you like carbs, but you have to order a regular breakfast for fee. Cappuccino was excellent.
The pillows were as flat as when I was a single man. How about some nice fluffy pillows? Ala Carte items in the room were a bit pricy. I don't think that it was clear either that it was another 10 euro per night for my wife to stay in the same room. The fees generally in the US are one price for the room regardless of whether it is one person or two.
Friendly, helpful, comfortable, clean, nice feel to it.
Location a bit distant for the tourist sites but we managed well with buses. Hot food at breakfast costs extra.
no complaints about the hotel except it is a distance from downtown area.
was a distance but will say not total washout because there were some nice restaurants in neighborhood. However, if main attractions is priority it is far. Cabs or Uber extremely expensive so had to resort to buses and would have to switch at least once.
Nice family room with old characteristics, Little balcony with breakfast in the room in the morning so nice ! Sugerstion : Please pre warn your customers if they prebooked breakfast that the room service breakfast( that was left to choose from in our room ) was not included and you need to pay separately for it.
Paying twice for breakfast. And bath was not so clean. Overall very happy with service and staff were really friendly ?
