Hotel Fontana

The staff were AMAZING! They were more than accommodating and so kind. There is a beautiful rooftop breakfast area that overlooks the Trevi Fountain. The rooms are a bit outdated but that's what makes them perfect for the Italian experience!!

The shower was very tight and the shower curtain stuck to me while I showered. Certainly not enough to ruin my stay and view of this beautiful hotel.

Location and personnel friendliness.

Scaffolding in the front does not allow view to the Trevi fountain. They are doing repairs to the front of the building. I was not aware of that.

Bathroom was marginal, shower doors did not seal, 3+ inch gap top to bottom! Minimal space. Facial and hand linens were like sheet fabric. Not absorbent at all. Shower doors caused floor to flood. No soap dish in shower.

the proximity to the trevi fountain was unmatched. the breakfast over looking the fountain in the morning was a dreamlike experience and the woman working the room was awesome. i suggest the made to order cappuccinos. the staff was wonderful.

as advertised my room did not have a view of the trevi fountain although this was almost expected it did not upset my overall experience.

Location was outstanding.

The bathroom has a slight odor but we left the fan running at is reduced the intensity. Otherwise was great.

hotel was from a bad movie the room is so small you could not open your luggage on the floor the shower is 18 inches wide, the plastic shower curtain sticks to your body water floods the floor thank god I was only there two days. Don't waste your money

The location was so perfect. Breakfast buffet was good. Hotel staff was so kind to let us store our luggage for several hours.

The Trevi fountain view during the day and night time. The closeness to everything as well as the grocery store next door and the gelato shop. Yum. The breakfast was good

The hotel was not kept up, the WiFi did not work most of the time and the cleanliness was not good. The staff were indifferent to us.

Definitely location, location, location. Centrally located, we were able to walk everywhere. The staff was always helpful and friendly.

The room was a bit small, especially the bathroom. No turning around in the shower. Breakfast was tasty, but a pretty basic continental fare.

The hotel staff are so friendly and welcome you with open arms. The location and views are so amazing and magical. Its small, cozy and wonderful. Upstairs is the best view of the entire Trevi fountain in the entire city. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

The hotel was fantastic right by the Trevi Fountain you walk out the door and the Fountain was there .the only draw back was it was a bit noisy but it didn't bother us .The Bin men came about 5.30ish and the delivery's for the restaurant about 6.30 to 7.30 .but it wouldn't stop me booking it again .

We were in room 207 which is directly in front of Trevi Fountain. The view was magnificent. The breakfast was olentiful and delicious with meats, cheese, croissants, tomatoes, juices, fresh fruit salad and various kinds of coffee. Staff was very nice and very helpful. The hotel is also located by many shops and restaurants.

The city tax must be paid in cash which we were not told until check out so I had to find an ATM to get change. As stated above the view of the fountain is smazing however it is crowded eith visitors 24/day so it was very noisy. It really should be closed overnight.

All the staff were great but especially the girl on reception, always with a smile and always pleasant

Rooms need urgent urgent urgent renovation and isolation, the public toilet from the terrace bar is directly next to the room and you hear everything from the people in the bathroom.

They got our rooms confused as we booked 3 total. Made us rescan our passports like 3 times. Wasn’t a huge deal but it was annoying for a $600 a night hotel. Also 2 of our 3 keycards stopped working during our stay(2 days total) and we had to get them redone. Would stay again just less than ideal with the price point.
