In Rome's central Monti area, Hotel Grifo features a terrace with magnificent city views. Cavour Metro Station on line B is 325 ft away, and you can walk to the Colosseum and Santa Maria Maggiore Basilica. The Grifo Hotel has rooms with private bathrooms and apartments with kitchen facilities. The apartments and some of the rooms are in the historic building in front of the hotel. A continental buffet is served daily and includes fresh croissants and a mix of sweet and savory food. The staff at the 24-hour front desk are always at your service.

- The location is amazing. Great neighborhood and handy to everything.
- The location was excellent, so close to the colloseum! Near lovely little restaurants and a small piazza, yet on a quiet street. Super clean! This is a family run hotel, and they are very welcoming. All the staff were extremely helpful and caring.
- It is the real deal - charming and out of the way (a little). If you need parking and a car, I'd suggest elsewhere.
Cons -
- It was 95ÃÂðF. And very humid. The hotel a/c is definitely not designed to handle that weather.
