    Pros +

    • Loved the location in an Italian centric area with lots of good food nearby. Short walk to Metro and Ostiense train station making traveling to the airport cheap and quick
    • Clean, had everything you need, great fridge, good bed/pillow, staff was helpful, great location (close to train station, tram, Roman sites, restaurants/food store/etc all within a couple blocks),
    • The room cleanliness and friendly, helpfull staff

    Cons -

    • People be warned. Some rooms are right adjacent to the rail system with let frequent trains running. Most are low speed but some are high that are noisier. You have to be a good sleeper. Personally I found the noise rhythmic soothing and no problem with i
    • It was hot and the A/C never cooled the room below 81 degrees F. But this is something we ran into with almost every place we went during this time.
    • All fine. I could here the trains but it wasn't really an issue. Maybe kettle in room would be handy as well.

Hotel was in great location. Close too good range of restaurants. Metro was 5 mins away which gave you access to all the main sights.Staff were very pleasant and helpful.

Close to railway but this known at time of booking. Better storage space for clothing would've been good. Everything else was fine

Staff is very friendly . Location is excellent

    Trains noise. Poor breakfast

    8AnnaPosted on: 8-10-2024

Location is super perfect for tourists! It's very close to the metro station Pyramid and to the train station where the train arrives straight from the airport. The hotel and room are clean and staff was very friendly!

A little bit noisy sounds of trains that are going straight near the hotel wall, but it was not critical for us.

The staff its very friendly and the lady who serves morning its very polite. The lady in reception was very nice.

The noise its very annoying. The smell in the room was musty. The bed was not comfortable

    clean in the room

the noise of neghbours; the breakfast was included in the payment, but then I was told it was not paid.

Location is good in terms of transportation (very close to two train stations) and food (Testaccio area, Testaccio market). Clean, well-managed property with attentive staff.

The neighborhood might feel sketch at night (though during the weekend, there are a lot of people on the street, and the restaurants and bars are open till very late (past midnight)

I have stayed at Crossroad Hotel several times. The location is perfect, the rooms are simple but smartly designed. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. My only suggestion would be putting full body mirrors somewhere in the room, as they are always useful. The only mirror is in the bathroom, and a second mirror is always good to have specially if you are travelling with someone else.

Good location, renovated hotel, nice staff, fair price.

Bathroom was terrible, small room, bad furniture and no room equipment.

The location for getting to the centre of Rome is good, easy access to every important site.Bed is good. It's clean. The staff is polite and kind.

Basic accommodation. You'll get somewhere to sleep and wash. You'll hear the neighbours. The trains stop at midnight and not so much disturbing, the hotel did everything possible to stop the noise of the railway. Bathroom is cheap looking. Not cosy.

Staff was friendly, hotel location was good. Bus nr 30 took you to the center of Rome and the metro station was very close. Breakfast was good too. The Roma Ostiense station was very close. Some trains passed right outside my window but the sound was never disturbing and never woke me up.Beds were good too and I slept well.

The shower box was a problem. I could get in since i am not fat but anyone with for instance a beer belly or a woman who is in her last months of pregnancy would not be able to get into the box because the opening (at least in my room) was about 1 foot (30 cm) wide only. (see photo)The breakfast chairs were OK for me but an elderly person who needs a good back support would have a hard time sitting at the breakfast tables. The hotel used high chairs in the breakfast room.In my room there was also very little room for the legs in front of the toilet. Please take this into account if you are tall as I am (6ft 1 in / 185 cm)

The hotel is well located in the bussoing center and few minutes from the station and in the heart of the city for people visiting to travel.

There is no cafeteria inside the hotel for a quick cafe, snack or a drink which in truth even some small hostels have these days.

super friendly personnel, not very busy

    seemed a little quick fix

    7LizePosted on: 7-20-2023

    The airconditioning.

I felt it's quite expensive for just a small hotel room with no view

    10TanyaPosted on: 5-24-2023

Lovely, friendly and helpful staff. The hotel was very clean and comfortable and the location perfect. 5 minute walk to the metro, 45 min walk into the centre of Rome, gave us the chance to walk back when we had time, and see lots more of the city. We used the electric scooters to travel back one evening which were great fun. Plenty of really good bars and restaurants within a short walking distance.

Not much really, our stay was great but a couple of little things that could have enhanced our experience would be: providing a second, different depth of pillow. There was one each and it was too high for me. The bathroom was very nice, but very compact. removing the bidet would greatly improve the size.

    not much

noisy location opposite an all night bar and trains. shower was too compact larger people wouldn’t get in it and room was really small.on the plus side there were some cool restaurants around ants there was a plentiful supply of hot water but that didn’t make up for a lack of sleep on 2 nights out of4 because of local noise
