Hotel Shangri-La Roma by OMNIA hotels

Very nice staff and very clean.

- Renovated, everything looks fresh and new- Very clean, fresh towels daily- Close to supermarket and Mall- Good breakfast for short stays- Close to bus station

- A little far from City centre, it takes 45m-1h to get to main attractions using public transport- Same breakfast every day and undrikable coffee. They had a decent medium roast for a day at the bar then they switched to a lower quality dark and bitter cofee for the rest of the days.- Heating in the room gets turned off after 1AM, we asked at the reception to keep it on but they only did so for one night. Not ideal as during our stay it was winter and very cold outside and the temperature dropped in the room quickly.- Electrical problems - for some reason on last night the TV turned on about 3 times after a loud clicking sound, waking us up everytime. At that point we already had enough and just unplugged it without calling the reception.

We were so excited when we arrived and entered our room, only to discover that the balcony door was not functioning properly. We immediately went to the front desk, and they quickly resolved the issue by offering us an upgrade to a different room. The staff was incredibly helpful, and the hotel had a warm and inviting atmosphere. Its prime location near a shopping mall and both airports was very convenient. The rooms were spacious and had everything a guest could need. The hotel was spotless, and we especially enjoyed the lovely terrace. Parking was a breeze, and the breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options. We highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be returning. A big thank you to the staff!

Room was spacious and well equipped to the smallest details from body lotion to hair ties.Food was good, staff very helpful. I have asked for an iron and had an ironing table and the iron itself delivered to the room super fast.

It is pretty far from the city center.

Motel-like property far from everything. Main areas quite dates but our block of rooms were renovated. Rooms were small but clean.

Everything was average for the price. I expected more. No coffee, no water, the fire alarm was on 3 times for no reason.

We stayed for less than a day as we had more than a few hours between check out from another hotel and our flight time.The receptionist was extremely accommodating and gave us a room in the morning itself even though normal check in time is at 3 pm!

It’s beautiful, clean and staff areVery good!

The staff were very helpful especially Gena, she did her best and beyond to make our stay just perfect . Room was spacious, clean and all facilities ( power outlets , kettle, instant coffe, tea, etc..) The location from Rome termini is about 40 min There are two bus stations one infront of the hotel and the other one on the side street . Near by the hotel ( just cross the street ) Markets and mall ( euro2 mall ) very nice Of course far from the center 40 min , yet very nice area . The breakfast was American breakfast with very nice coffe .

Clean, attractive, in good repair.

This hotel is clean and confortable, it has a bus stop right across the park in front of the hotel.

The location is far from city center and it takes a bus and a metro to get to downtown, about 45 minutes. There is only one restaurant about 10 min walk from the hotel and no shops or supermarkets near by. The restaurant in the hotel is very basic with just a few simple options and expensive.

The lady at the bar was extremely helpful, warm and professional. And the cleaners were kind and helpful. The size of the room was very good and plenty of towels.

The reception staff were professional but never a smile, a warm welcome, an offer to help with the luggage - there is a stair to go to the room in marble and was raining the day I arrived, reception looked at me struggling with the luggage and ignored me. I found average the quality of the bathroom products in the room. Good selection of teas but no milk/cream in the room.

For a 4 star rating and carrying the Shangri-La brand I was quite disappointed with the standard of the property, staff and facilities

There are many issues that we would expect from a Shangri-La propertyMain issues . Room was hot and little control of temperature . Bathroom was dangerous slippery getting into and out of the shower and we are able bodied!!. A superior room supplied with two small paper cup to make your coffee. Ordered a coffee Americano grand size. Received a piccolo two sips in a tiny mug and charge $Euro15 .some staff at restaurant were fantastic however the front desk staff were less than enthusiastic or overly polite .strong sewage smell on second and third day in stair well.dinner was good but expensive, breakfast was food that had been left sitting out for some time.We have become use to a friendly homely Shangri-La for example Shangri La Rasa Ria Kota Kinabalu Our visit to Shangri-La Rome was not a friendly classy environment
