Nothing really. Perfect for a short or longer stay. Great staff. Very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Room and facilities were perfect - very clean and high quality.

Morning views from the 3rd floor were appreciated, and when the weather allows the terrace is a lovely place for breakfast. Which had multiple choices with good coffee, eggs and a lot more! We loved the walk in shower of the room. After a long day touring, a hot shower would do the trick. The hotel had a unique atmosphere, that enhanced our experience in Rome. Its vicinity to colosseum, city attractions, bus routes made the whole trip even better. The thing we will not forget is the lift! It is from an other epoch!

Close to many of the major sites in Rome. The Staff was kind and very accommodating.

If I had to say anything bad it would be the rooftop didn’t have a bar to enjoy a drink from.

Staff could have been a bit more knowledgeable about the area when asking for a cafe etc

Location was close to the colosseum & walkable from the train terminal. Breakfast is not included, however, the selection is vast and it's a delicious while also being convenient. Staff was extremely helpful and communicative team via WhatsApp for 24/7 service. The hotel has free activities to participate in like a Christmas light walking tour, perfect for a stay around the holidays.

Salotti Monti was a great little hotel in a fabulous part of Rome. We were very comfortable and the breakfast was lovely. The rooftop terrace was very nice although it was too cold for us to sit out there. Just note that the hotel is located inside an older, maybe 1930s, building and other tenants inhabit other apartments within the building. There are two lifts which is great for bags but they are the small older style lifts so you may need a few trips if you have lots of luggage.

The heater stopped working during one evening and I couldn't get it to restart.

The room I had was nothing like the picture I see on booking it was dark dreary and not functional at all. No place to put your luggage except on the floor. Hard to function in the bathroom if you're female there is no place to put your makeup the mirror is high over the sink. I opened the bathroom window to use the ledge to do makeup! . Not even a hook to hang anything. Bed was hard, pillows hard lighting in room is bad, very dark. One tiny trash can. I would not recommend the room I had. Did not try the breakfast. I am just leaving this review so maybe they can make some improvements. Oh and the floor is very slippery in this room. The staff at check in and out were nice friendly but unfortunately the room was not to my liking.

Rooms are not really soundproof. You can hear people talking at reception.

Great location. Fabulous staff. Generous size rooms for a European hotel.

Rooms aren’t very well designed. No floor length mirror, poor lighting in bathroom, nowhere to hang a full length coat or dress.

The hotel location was extremely convenient. The breakfast much better than expected.

Hotel is very difficult to find as there is no external signage and main door locked during the day . I would suggest the hotel joining instructions should include a photo of the door and the intercom code for speaking to reception (114). Hotel occupies the 3rd floor and has contemporary decor - the rest of the builing interior is somewhat run down. Rooms very hot even in December- aircon ineffectual.

Great location, very good breakfast and amazing staff

We stayed in the 3-person bedroom and it was super spacious, comfortable, and equipped with all the amenities we needed. The breakfast was incredibly complete and absolutely delicious every morning.The location truly cannot be beat, just a few minutes’ walk from the Fontana di Trevi and many other popular spots, which made exploring the city effortless.The staff was amazing from start to finish. Special mention to Giorgia, Erminia, and Alexandra. They shared great tips, helped us book a taxi to the airport, and even took care of our luggage after checkout so we could enjoy one last walk around the city. They were exceptionally kind and attentive throughout our stay.Our experience couldn’t have been better. We fully recommend Salotto Monti — 10/10!

The only comment we have is that the comfort of the beds could definitely be improved. Other than that, everything was truly wonderful.

I had an excellent stay at the hotel.I especially want to thank Alexandra, Irene, and Giorgia at the reception.They were incredibly kind, professional, and helpful.Even when I lost my room key, they handled the situation with a smile and made everything easy for me. Their attitude and hospitality truly made my stay better.Thank you for the outstanding service — people like them are the reason I would definitely come back.Highly recommended!

Superb location. Very comfortable rooms. Although the rooms overlooking the road can get a bit noisy.

Had an upgrade so that was happy turn. Everything worked well. Service was excellent and hospitable. Location was perfect for stroll to all the important sights.

When having late breakfasts the selection was limited. Not really problematic for the guests but in the long term the wooden floors will suffer terribly from the spill over from the shower which was open both towards the room and the bathroom.

Excellent location. Lovely staff. The breakfast is simple but nice, every day you can find some different options, and you can enjoy it outside in the terrace!

Our room was too noisy as it was just in the corner. Even with all closed you can hear the cars.
