Hotel Martini

A huge thank you at the front desk for his excellent hospitality. It was such a nice, welcoming touch to be offered a refreshing drink and a biscuit upon our arrival. The location of the hotel is absolutely excellent and incredibly convenient.

The room and bathroom were both extremely small, but everything was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. Be prepared to pay an additional €7, per person/night for city/tourist tax.

Location and cleanliness

It was close to everything.

It didn’t have an iron, no shampoo, no toothpaste, elevator not working ( on the 4th floor) and it wasn’t mentioned.

It's on a forth floor (very tall floors) and the elevator is not working. they could have warn us before, but they didn´t. We kindly asked for help with our luggage but they refuse. As we were with someone with reduced mobility, we ended up leaving and booked another hotel. We are still trying to get our money back from Booking and this awful hotel.

Taxi was on time. Room was comfortable, however, loud music from a club kept me from a solid sleep.

We paid for breakfast however, the clerk arrived late and our taxi was on time. The little bit of cappuccino I had was not good. No refund was offered.

I like the location, which is within walking distance to most attractions, like Trevi, Pantheon, Coliseum, Borgese, Churches and museums. Also, the receptionist Bobby and the cleaner Andrea were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was not included, so I tried ones. The other two mornings, I tried local breakfast in the city, which is available in every corner.

No lift, but it was not a problem for me as I travel with backpack only.

The property is in the center of Rome, close to many historical objectives. We liked the fact that the property was really clean and also the kindness of Bobby, the receptionist, who was ready to help and happy to talk with us.

We had a really pleasant stay. Boby was very friendly and ready to help always. We could check in earlier, and on the last day we could leave our luggage at the hotel and come back later as we had a late flight.Close to main attractions and train station, also 2 min walking to bus/metro station from where we could go to Vatican. Small breakfast available as well.

The hotel is on the 4th floor, so depends how active you are ?. But for us it wasn' t a big issue.

The Staff attention and kindness, but also the room was really comfortable for 3 of us. We have taken the breakfast and it is recommended if you prefer something good and cheap in Rome.

The hotel was located in a very good place in the city center and all the attractions were close to the hotel.The staff was very nice, friendly and helpful with everything, and the cleanliness was just super, they cleaned the room every day.I want to say special thank you Baby.he is very good person and help for everything

Everything is good

Quiet newly renovated room, looks like. Room is at a fourth floor of a residential building, quiet at night. Walking distance to the Roma termini train station, also few steps to the Republica metro station, if one doesn't like to walk more to get to Roma termini.

Lift was out but was not notified to the guests on Booking or anywhere, so guests have to carry their bags up and downstairs to the fourth floor hotel. When we arrived, it was after 230 pm local, which is after the check in time starts, however, no one was in the hotel to check us in or even open the door for us. So had to go down stairs to a hotel at the 2nd floor, which has had staff available, and beg them to call a number left at the hotel door, because we didn't have an Italian local phone number, then the door was unlocked remotely and we were able to get in and wait for the staff to come and check us in, very interesting experience.

Location, clean comfortable room.

Elevator was broken, had to climb 4 flights of stairs every time. They did hire someone to carry the luggage but still painful. Also, breakfast not included, not Ben a cup of coffee.

Being on the fourth floor with NO LIFT!!The noise, late in to the nigh, from the Irish Pub below.Breakfast was pretty basic.

Location was good and staff we friendly.

Lift in building was not serviced and therefore not working. Had to carry luggage up 8 flights of stairs with no assistance from hotel staff. Noise from Irish pub next door kept us awake on two mid week nights until near midnight. Walls between rooms appear thin so noisey neighbour in next room talking loudly woke us at 1.00 am.

Paid extra for the breakfast, worth the cost. Staff were very nice and helpful.

No elevator up 8 flights of stairs to 4th floor is not great. Expensive for what it was.

The room was clean and cozy.

The property was located on the 6th floor but their elevator was broken so we had to walk up 6 flights w/ luggage. On our 2nd night they lost power and the AC did not work for our 2nd & 3rd day. To make matters worse, they promised us compensation for the our inconvenience but it was never received.

One of the staff was very nice when I told her I have a bad knee and lower back pain when I found out the elevator going to the 4th for ( 5th for to Americans) was out of service.. Best location. Only a few minutes from Termini and the metro. Maybe I was there at a bad time.

The power was out the day I was leaving, not their fault. The bathroom was small. No desk for working ( I have to work in the morning).

The location was very convenient. The room comfortable and clean. Bobi in the reception is very helpful and friendly. We will recommend this hotel. Value for money.

It would be nice to find a solution with the elevator, because the 4th floor by steps is not always easy, especially if you have walked before for hours in Rome
